last couple of minutes are not in manga and it's anime only. they had to do this way because next cosplay starts right after this one. they cut a scene where are discussing next cosplay and went with a self. also they have material for only 6 or so episodes

2025-11-25 15:06:19 +0000 UTCI'm gonna be real, I binged most of this in a day or so, so I was definitely spoiled only having to wait a day to see 24 episodes... But I am overall disappointed with this cliffhanger. I get there is a potential S3/Movie for the future, but that's likely 2-3 years away for a 12-episode/movie-based show that isn't hyper-animated. (I love the art and animation, but it's not like it's fast-paced action animation, which I wouldn't like in a romcom.) Simply put, I wanted a confession and then a long wait for the final season/movie. This leaves a shit taste in my mouth for the future season/movie, I know it likely ends with love, a kiss (hopefully), and maybe we pray a flash forward showing they had kids or such. But until then, this just leaves a massive unsatisfied knot for the series for me. Akira's whole character is just a miss to me; everyone else feels fine, I get that her role is to show obsessiveness at a peak, and so on, but Dangers In My Heart explored that theme better in my eyes. I feel like my disappointment in the lack of a confession is beyond valid, we had her realise she was interested early on, a confession at the end of season 1 (albeit he was asleep), she has constantly been wanting to date him the whole season, told a bunch of people she likes him, and then had this massive built up for a selfie. I do think the selfie is cute, I think if season 3/movie was out already, then I'd have LOVED where this ended off, but it's just a massive wait now for something that could potentially not end in a great way... I guess another fear I have after reading another Patreon comment on here is that someone said the mangaka ended it early cause she got very sick and wanted to at least give it a decent ending. This SUCKS, I'm an anime-only, I don't read manga, but the idea that she had more she wanted to do and expedited it could make the ending just so underwhelming... (Edit - I have used AI, and it said this is only a rumour, but fans would estimate about 6 episodes worth of cut pacing. Essentially, a good ending just felt a bit expedited. I don't know the ending, I made sure it didn't spoil me) Overall season 1 was a 9/10 to me, lacked basically nothing other than tiny details. I feel bad but may have to give S2 an 8/10, I loved the first half, but this whole nun arc just felt a LOT slower for Gojo and Marin, and while I enjoyed it, I just hate that we finally get back to their dynamic for the last 5 or so mins and it jumps from the confession to a photo... Probably sucks that I binged Danger in my heart before this, and that became my favourite romcom of all time, along with Clannad, but Dangers executed everything I wanted it to perfectly. This will hopefully pull it back in the finale for me... I wish I were okay with reading manga and then watching an anime, but I just feel weird reading something that could get an animated form Loved y'alls reactions to Dangers and this, along with a ton of others. I only feel like commenting on the romcoms it seems lol

But I genuinely hope we get a response sooner rather than later about it. I realize we had to wait for season 2.. and I don't mind waiting for season 3 or a movie but I truly hope they plan to release something. This show is so good, and I loved the growth and everything in this season. Loved the reaction!

My fav scene is prob Nowa belting out her song in karaoke and then just asking Marin and Gojo if they dating

2025-09-21 04:23:16 +0000 UTCI felt a bit sad ss2 end like this but also felt relieved it was not ended in the cliffhanger.Because the next arc is the BIG PENULTIMATE story that, imho, one of the best written story in recent years, it's a commulation of everything My dress-up darling is and 'completed' it.
