Um if you remember Kizuna literally said that she was one of the cardinal heroe while Glass and L'arc were Vassal heroes so they never said that the vessel weapons are the cardinal weapons in the other world Now Kizuna saying that she is one of the 4 cardinal heroes already pointed out that they are not the same thing because in Kizuna's world in the anime that we already know there are The sickle hero , The Mirror hero, The Katana hero, the boat hero, the book hero and the hunting tool hero that's 6 heroes not 4 so by Kizuna saying that she was one of the 4 cardinal heroes and the anime already showing 6 heroes in her world means Cardinal heroes and Vassal heroes are not the same thing Now The 7 star heroes in Raphtalia's world are The same thing as the Vassal heroes More information will be explained in The War of the heroes arc and The return to the other world arc Now remember how Naofumi could not go to Glass's world without a special quest and L'arc , Glass and S'yne can world hope whenever they want and S'yne said that her world was destroyed when the assassins killed her world's cardinal heroes Well that is because if all the 4 cardinal heroes leave their world or they die their world gets destroyed and well the Vassal heroes are supposed to go to different worlds and kill the cardinal heroes in different worlds in order to make the waves stop in their world Tho here is the thing Raphtalia was chosen to be the Vassal Katana hero of Glass's world The enemy of her world because the spirit of the Katana is trying to get the heroes of Glass's world to work with the heroes of Raphtalia's world so they can fight the ones behind the waves together Once more Kizuna was locked in the infinite labyrinth by someone who works for the ones behind the waves because they knew that she would not allow the Vassal heroes of her world to kill the cardinal heroes of other worlds And there is a good reason why Bitch and Makina have the same personality and that will be a big part later in the story By the way If Bitch actually got the other heroes to kill Naofumi that would make the waves much worse so Bitch's actions would have helped the ones behind the waves Just like how Makina trying to get Raphtalia's family who's role is to keep the heroes from going evil to kill themselves would help the ones behind the waves There is a bigger plot that people just aren't seeing because of all the information the anime cut out

For all its faults, season two needed to happen in order to get to this point. Let people stay sleep at this point. Whenever this show reaches its conclusion...this season serves as proof that it can get there and not get cut short.

2025-09-18 06:33:12 +0000 UTCIt's gotta be another vassal weapon. There's a weapon ranking system in place here. There are four cardinal directions, so there are four cardinal weapons. The myriad of vassal weapons strikes me as inferior to the cardinal weapons. If we take the "vassal" title literally, then there's some kind of subordinate relationship between the cardinal and vassal weapons, maybe even between their holders as well. I wonder if spear, bow, and sword are really cardinal weapons. Seems like they're subordinate to Naofumi at this point, and it's kind of game-breaking for that trash king to have been able to summon four cardinal weapons simultaneously. I'm not buying the whole "vassal weapons are just what they call cardinal weapons in other worlds" theory. So what do we know about the Hammer or the Hammer Hero? I can't recall anything about a hammer.
