I truly think they messed up by having this as the second and not the first episode! just take the betrayal from ep 1 and slap it onto this ep and it would have made for a better first ep. then just re-purpose ep 1 as an ep 2 or future flash back ep

I enjoyed this episode a whole lot, as well as the direction they're taking with the story. I know I joked around for the first episode about how similar the premice felt to Scooped Up by an S-Ranked Adventurer, but honestly I could see the potential for something like ep2. I really like the "old friends getting back together to form a party" vibe. Kind of reminds me of the start of Log Hoziron. The MC doesn't have to prove himself to the party, they're already friends and have fun interactions.

After two episodes you should know if you want to drop it or not... again it is a slow burner
