I wonder if mom knew the blood line and what the daughter will be, kept her busy and out of reach of grandpa to avoid exactly that? I have no idea but she made no sense to me except for this. If she is even her mother, she looked so detached.

But it was the stuff I was looking forward to because man is it confusing for people to talk about without visuals.

They are very clearly the same as they were 20 generations ago... Though, if the girl really did off herself, that would have been the end of the line, no? No, probably the mom would have just had another kid. But now I'm curious about why the mom was distancing herself from the grandpa if she inherited the insanity but didn't want to join the cult?
