I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned but Armstrong's VA is the same VA as Watts from RWBY! When Watts gives his monologue to Cinder in V8, I could only hear Armstrong π€£

I recognize some of the characters but I donβt know much about them except the two brothers. Still though, looking forward to this journey with you guys π₯

The second episode is where the original anime started and it's a far better starting episode IMO. But that people new to the series can still enjoy this opening is a testament to how well Brotherhood stands the test of time. As for all your questions... Just know that this show leaves very few unanswered. :)

2025-05-02 21:05:24 +0000 UTCSo the first FMA anime follows the original manga storyline for the first season, but during season 2 it had caught up and instead of creating filler episodes they just took the story in a whole other direction. After the manga wrapped up they created FMA: Brotherhood to be the βmanga faithfulβ adaptation. Despite this, the first episode isβ¦ not manga material! Itβs entirely made up for the anime! Hahahahaha. I will say, because the early bits of the story were already adapted well in the first anime, Brotherhood kind of zooms through it, harming the pacing a bit, but once it gets past what was already covered in the first anime it greatly improves. Regardless, welcome to my all time favorite anime/manga story! (Technically One Piece is my favorite piece of fiction ever, but I donβt count it when I rate my favorite anime/manga).
