I return! Well, actually I returned on Monday, but who's counting :D

Hi Guys!

I'm back after the Christmas break, and though my Covid rough patch* isn't over, the downtime definitely helped :)

NEWS! The wall stamps and printable stone walls should be ready soon, I've finally been able to get test prints rolling again and finalise some changes, as well as rework the method for using the stamps that is MUCH quieter! I'll be showing that off soon with any luck...

I've also made more progress with scripting the videos, because they are now 5 videos and counting!

Some are short, which I cut from the main video for time, such as 'how I did my ventilation system' and 'how to do the corner pieces of the sewers'.

Others are almost as big as the main sewer video (just under 20mins) - The sloped walls are now their own video, as are the 3d printed accessories and their crafted rivals. Who will win? Who knows....yet! Though I will say the 3d printed versions will definitely be easier - accessories are where printing shines 😊

I've also made some further adaptations to the designs to make crafting them easier, so I suppose you can call that the benefits of delays 😅

Finally, I've been working with Fabio on getting the first of the 3d printed sewer accessories made - I'm planning to have 'end pieces' for the sewer flow tiles that allow you to build vertically and have disgusting waterfalls between levels - should be fun!

And yes, they will be modular, even if it kills me! 😂

These will be a big chunk of the december thank you STLs, alongside hopefully some printable wall variants like doorways :)

For January I have a full modular pipe system that attaches to our modular walls (and more) planned, but more on that in time...

Again, thank you all so much for your support, it has made this recovery so much less stressful, and enabled me to keep getting STLs made for you even if I can't get as much work done myself :)

More soon,

Matt

*for those following the drama of long covid 🙄😅- Christmas helped! mostly at least, the time off gave me some time to recouperate, even if I didn't actually feel much better, at least I wasn't pushing myself and feeling worse!

This week has been a mixed bag, Monday and Tuesday were much like most of Christmas, very slow, very hazy, only got 1-3 hours work done each day.

But TODAY! Today has been great, or at least compared to the last month😅, I'm not exactly myself, but I've been working since 9 and I'm still working at 4:40, so I'm taking that as a win...

Glad you're feeling somewhat better! Very excited for the sewer videos to see your newest creation and to see what the New Year brings for modular crafting.
