This build is focused on non-AI voice commands.
Over 17,000 phrases (what you say) trigger over 1,600 actions (what happens in vamX).
These are non-AI, locally processed, speech recognition actions.
There are now more than 3x as many actions as there used to be in vamX.
These actions load content that is included in vamX, so if there is some long blonde hair, you can say long blonde hair. But since we don't have long green hair, saying long green hair does nothing.

vamX and vamX base must both be put into your VaM/AddonPackages folder, not in any subfolder, and not be renamed. You must have, exactly [VaM]/AddonPackages/vamX.Base.1.var If that's not the issue, download the base again, it must be corrupted (bad download, since it's an almost 4GB file). You can go to Pose -> 2nd Page -> Move Pose to fix pose locations.

2023-10-24 03:26:17 +0000 UTCVamX keeps telling me I need to download vamX base 1 every time I open it, I already have it installed. How do I fix this, this is with version 31, I am going back to either version 30, or version 29 and see if that stops it. When using VamX in a scene, the models are spawning either into the floor or high in the air. How do I fix this or position the models even with the floor or location I want them?

2023-08-10 18:09:10 +0000 UTCIf you have the Steam version, run VaM_Updater.exe from your VaMX folder. If you don't have VaM_Updater.exe, download it from https://cdn.virtamate.com/Release/VaM_Updater.zip and put the VaM_Updater.exe in your VaMX folder so it's located in VaMX/VaM_Updater.exe. Run that and you'll have the latest version of Virt-a-Mate. The latest version of Virt-a-Mate also shows vamX versions, so you'll then see both the Virt-a-Mate and vamX versions when seeing the version in Virt-a-Mate. If you have Steam, don't forget to delete the AddonPackages/vamX.1.99.var package if you haven't yet.
