Bioasshard Development Report 5/21/18

Hi everyone, Versus X here!


Let's talk about some things ^^


V0.0.3 Public Release

The public release will also be pushed in. In a few hours it will be publicly available for everyone ^^.

Stay tuned on our Blog, Tumblr, Discord and/or Gamejolt.


Changes

As announced in our past post.

Here is the first one: No more working 24/7.

From now on we'll take one or two days off every week and take a rest for our minds and to try to not get burned.

Also I'm really happy, cause I'm working on a couple of things that will be announced soon. Not related to Bioasshard, but for me they are really good. One of this things is more content for the Patreon (or some kind of early access) so I think it'll be good for Patrons too. The other one is a more 'personal' thing and had nothing to do with this patreon... hope to be able to announce both of them soon.

Moving forward... I want to start making some kind of 'Making of' content, you know... speed modeling/painting or stuff like that... Don't know if you will be interested in this kind of content but I think it would be nice and also serve for the people who thinks we're using ripped resources to make our games. Before that we've to investigate how to do this or even if this is possible on our PCs.

I also want to add a couple of channels to our discord for off-topic chit-chat but there's not much interactionr over there yet, so... What do you think guys?


Next Release

We're now working on the next Bioasshard update: V0.1.0.

This means that a lot of new content and changes are coming.

As you can guess the release date, right now is undetermined.


New UI

One of the things I'm working on is the UI and HUD redesign.

We want to get away from the RE5 look a bit and make it more personal.

Take a look:

As you can see there's are lot of changes. One to them is the redish tones that are now present on all the UI graphics.

And take a look at this:

This is how the new menu slots looks. And, as you can see, there is more info on the hotkeys for those who don't like to read the readme xD.

I'm almost done with all of this graphics but I need Meguido to integrate all the new UI on the game to see if any adjustments are needed.


Jill V2.0

One of the main uptades on the new version will be the new Jill (V2.0). Meguido is working really hard on this and here is what he has to say about the progress on our blondie beauty:

Well, basically everything is going pretty well so far, but as I expected it will take longer than the first Jill model and the update I made for her (which I called V1.5 some time ago in a Meguido's Report). This is an entire new model, not just an update. Hopefully it will be better and smoother than the v1.5 one. I hope to soon be able to show you guys how it's looking.


More Content

But there will be more content on the next Arena update; expect new gameplay system to be added (ie new item types, etc) and a complete new area to explore.

As you can see there's a lot of work to do and we'll try to maintain you as informed as possible.


And that's all for now. This week I've planned a new post with more shitty doodles from OIU so stay tune (if you want to suffer lol).

Hehehe yeah we did some brainstorming on that too. We'd like to have a lot of the RE universe fauna. The game story actually happens after RE5, so it's possible to see the plaga involved in there. Thank you! &lt;3

I wonder how far will enemy category will cover up to, do you people has been brainstorm about this :) ? Will it reach RE5 with those weird cult virus or tentacle-ish thingy that I hardly remember its ugliness but I doubt they will do a nice job lit her body up in a weird way. Looks to be quite far on horizon but I know how hard animating work can be. Please keep up the good work xD

"I've been looking into it but right now there's 2 cons. The procedure to get the build done... It involves a lot more than just building it in UE4. And the other one is the shader model. I've read some people talking about SM5 not being compatible with Linux builds. So that would turn the water into a gray material. Jill was 1 of 2 video game crushes for me so to find this game was amazing. I prefer the brown haired version with the S.T.A.R.S. uniform on but can't win them all I guess.

It would be perfect to include disgusting monsters, bosses and dogs. Seeing Jill fucked by dogs is as classic as seeing her fucking with nemesis. this game is a dream come true for me 😄😄😄😍😍😍
