Wondering what's their interest in routing them through the UK... pretty sure it's something that will benefit them not the creators.

2018-08-08 23:43:25 +0000 UTCWord on the grapevine is that it is being cause by Patreon moving it's financial affairs and transactions to the UK, or at least routing them through the UK. I haven't yet found hard evidence of this but several patrons on several creator pages have stated this.
