Development Report 7/12/2019 + Poll

Hi Patrons!

It’s the time for a new dev report. Here we go:


First things first. As you may have noticed, lately we aren’t responding to comments here, this is due the lack of time we have. We just put the post here and get back to working on the projects. So, in this post I’m going to take some time to answer to some of those comments and other stuff I saw lately on discord.


OK I'll start with discord… This one makes me sad… there are people that are still confused with Bioasshard Arena vs Game stuff and the versioning of the project.

For the one last time:

Also, about the % Meguido talked about on the last report…

This is the Percentage for the Bioasshard Arena Version 0.1.0. And take into account that this % is related to the number of tasks, not to time needed to complete them.

I mean: finding a sound is a task, rigging a character is a task but it doesn’t take the same amount of time to do them.

I have an idea for a zombie variant that shouldn't be too much of a hassle to create(in relative terms I mean) how about a crimson head style zombie from the game, make the red zombies special by just increasing the animation speed of everything he does by DOUBLE and amp up his health and make his attacks deal more damage to stamina and deal less to health, hell even for an added twist give him glowing red eyes or something to help distinguish himself from the rest. Just a thought, hope it helps in any way :)

Ey gracias. Normalmente trabajamos en los proyectos 6 días a la semana de Domingo a viernes, aunque últimamente estamos dándole caña toda la semana completa, sin día de descanso, y creo que seguiremos así, al menos, hasta lanzar la nueva versión de Bioasshard. Para que luego vayan por ahí algunos llamándonos procrastinadores. ?

Well, Punished Mai is a Patrons only game and Patrons have access to a full walkthrough… If you don´t have access to the walkthrough it means the you aren’t a Patron and you are playing a pirate copy of the game. And as the creators of that game we aren’t going to help people playing pirate copies of our games sorry.

Looks like things are coming along nicely. Is there a ETA on a demo for bioasshard?

VXS:

Unfortunately, not. The new version will be released as soon as possible.

People need to understand that we (VXS) are the most interested ones on the release for the new version. The future of VXS depends on it.

But we’re not going to announce fake release dates or time frames that we can’t accomplish. You can get more info about this subject on the Bioasshard FAQ (it's the first question of it).

POLL: What's the most important thing for you on a H-game?

I saw that the amazing artist Crisis Beat did a poll like this on his twitter and then the curiosity began to sting me to know the answer of our patrons.

We want to know what do you like the most on hentai games.

You can choose more than one option but try NOT to select more than 3 of them because that would lose the meaning of the poll.

Here is the summary on the progress made for this project:

Finally, I’m back to normal speed for this project.

No preview this time, I’m not in the mood for it, also I want to avoid spoilers as much as possible from now on ?


Bioasshard Dev Report

And these are the progress we’ve done lately on Bioasshard…

-We have taken a difficult decision… we have divided the new area into 2 separate maps (the exterior area and the mansion interior) to increase performance. This also allow us to work more easily on them.

-With this in mind, we have increased a bit the size of those two areas, jus a bit, nothing too crazy ^^

-And after that we’ve designed the gameplay (objectives, item location and puzzles) for the areas.

-We have been tweaking the lights and (re)baking them.

-I have done the Icons for the key items including the ones for the plates on the sewer.

-We finished the preparation of the sounds (I think Meguido is working with these, right now on UE4)

-The new music tracks are now selected and placed on the game.

Hello everyone!
Here I am again, with a new short update on the current state of Bioasshard…
Instead of mentioning every time the same kind of stuff I’ve been working on, I’ll go straight to the point.
I’m in the middle of the “crunch” (the term that got so popular lately in this media) for the finalization of the next version.
I’m finishing up with the sound fx placement and programming and once that’s done, I’ll be making one last implementation (if this one works, you’ll like it a lot ?). Then… all that will remain is:
-Compile and test
-And then something that probably you know about, something that starts with a ‘R’… XD
With that said… current percentage: 99%

Agreed, possibly zombification in some circumstances as well... The transfer of fluids and all

Personally, I would like an extra animation just before the sex scene where the character, after being knocked down, is struggling to fight off a would zombie rapist that would show the penetration instead of going straight to the sex itself. Anyways, thanks for the hard work and cannot wait for Bioasshard.

Would it be possible to implement continued and repeatable H when Game Over'ed instead of just dying? Maybe even a transition to a breeding area/room where you have to escape or face becoming a seed bed for various enemies?
