THE SERVER IS DOWN

Looks like it's impossible for me to get a vacation, so I'm going to write this before my fucking right eye crashes.

If you are planning to pledge (or edit your current pledge) for FOX tier to play the new version we suggest you to wait because you won't be able to download or play the game.

If your are a Patron, please DON'T panic. (this was some kind of expected)

So yeah, if you've been trying to play in the last few hours you'l noticed you can get pass the log-in screen... this is basically because the server decided it was too much work for 'him' to keep auto-updating so it decided to refuse any incoming connection. We knew the server wasn't that good but also expected for it to be not that bad.

So Meguido, has wiped out the server and is working right now on a new version for the game. The server's life was short but secure, let's give 'him' a last good bye.

In the case that you already pledged in these last few hours and couldn't even play the game, you can cancel the pledge and ask for a refund or you can wait a few days for the new version.

Version 0.1.x

As I said, Meguido is working right now on a new version for the game.

It will have some fixes, some changes and a couple of add-ons but the most important thing:

The infamous Log-in system will be removed.

Why to delete the Log-in System?

Well for various reasons being the main one that the FOX Patrons have spoken

Other reasons are that the System itself was still very young to be used, the server we choose is very slow, we've been forced to manually refresh the server so many times in just a couple days, the Patrons manager from Patreon does very weird things ...

New Release Dates

Well, this is the new plan:

1-We're trying to finish this new version ASAP. (We're aiming for the next Monday but can't promise anything)

2-If all goes well, this day we'll release the V0.1.x for FOX and HOUND Patrons.

3-Because we're so happy with the reception of the game so far, (even if we're still too far from the target) we're thinking why make the rest of people wait so much to play it? So we're gonna reduce the time between releases. The plan is to have all releases ready (including the public version) before the end of August.

4-Can't confirm the dates right now (it depends on how much time it takes to get ready the new version) but when it's done it won't take too much for everyone to get access to it.

What will happen with the Patron-exclusive content?

Right now, our idea is to release different versions of the game depending on the pledge.

The CP-System

But we're now planning our next step to give the Patrons what they deserve.

It's what we call The CP-System (provisional name) I'm not going to talk too much about it because it's still on his design phase, but I'm going to put here some concepts:

It wont' requiere internet connection.
It will be comfortable for us to work with it and for Patrons because of it's not intrusive nature.
No Patron info will be required.
It will allow us to reward our Patrons but not only based on their pledge but in their loyalty to us (ie the time they've been Patrons)
It will allow more integration with projects that aren't games (like comics, CG sets, etc)
And most important, it will give the Patrons the freedom to do whatever they want with their rewards.
