Development Report 11/7/2019

Let’s go with a new Dev Report after Halloween and after a very busy week (including more medical stuff not only for me but for Meg aswell this time xD). We’re not only looking for the voice actress, as we’ve done a lot of new stuff. And this is what I have done during this time:

Well with all the new renders post-processed and put in place I have created the anal scene which is divided in two parts. It was very fun to do but I’m not going to tell anymore to avoid spoilers. 😉

With the full anal scene finished, I did some things on the other scenes: first was correct all the images that were wrong due to the new ones having a different numeration. After that, I added the new images on the scenes while writing new dialogs for them. All the sex scenes have new renders added and extra dialogs to support them.

After finishing the scenes, I made some tests and fixed a lot of image position problems .

With the scenes finished, I extracted all the text from the anal scene and the new text from the previous scenes and put them on the script, necessary for the voice actress. I’m still waiting for some Meguido testing and corrections.

One thing that we didn’t mention before, is that The Case of T+ will include some small (450X600px) and short animation loops to make more interesting the sex scenes. These loops are integrated on the sex scenes on top of the full-size renders. These animations were done and rendered by Meguido but he didn’t mention it before. With the animations done, I did a cool frame for it and put all the images on the project. Then I ‘reconstructed’ the animations with the ‘show image’ option frame by frame. After that, it was time to find the correct coordinates for every one of the scenes and the frame.

With all the previous stuff done, I placed the animations on their respective scenes in the correct time for it.

The options menu that appears after every scene has been updated. 

The Fantasy Card System is already integrated, configured and functional on the project. It was also tested and all looks like it's working perfectly. I also did the different cards with its passwords on it. There are 7 in total including the one already published some time ago on The F Mission.

We’ve improved and expanded even more the documentation for the character creation.

With a reference made by Meguido, I've been doing Kintaro's bust that is now completed even with color.

And now, I’m working on creating a small town. This town will be the first one to visit on the game and the one we’re going to show for the ‘reintroduction post’ in a near future. I can say that this place it’s almost at 50% done and I hope to finish it during this week.

A new report is here.
So, this was supposed to be the “only good news” report… but oh well, that’s not part of my luck lol.
Yeah, the good news are that, finally, I could get a new PC. One ready to work with UE4. Then where’s the bad one? Well, as I said, my luck xD. There seem to be a hardware problem in it. Not sure if it’s the GPU or the power supply, but the moment the GPU reaches about 67º, everything freezes and I’m forced to make a hard-reset. Obviously, as a newly bought PC, I can make use of the warranty. But that will make me lose more time, I mean, I bought it through internet, so I have to send it back to them for the fix process. They state in their web that this process can take 1-2 days to take a look at it and fix it if it’s something easy. If it’s not easy, they can take up to a week but if it’s something they have to send to the manufacturer, it can take up to 4 weeks (this I think it won’t be the case).
But with the next Bioasshard Arena release so close (and the work I’m doing for Omnia In Unum), I decided to not send it for repair just yet and wait for the after-release.
The only problem with that is that I can’t make long tests (of about the time it takes to get the heat up to that point) so I have to test everything in small portions.
With that explained, -even if it’s not important in the near future because it won’t delay releases, I still wanted to tell you-, it’s time to point out what I’ve been working on (ignoring a few days where I’ve been configuring everything for this new PC):
-Omnia In Unum: So, I’ve been helping Mr.Versus with some graphics. Making some changes in the main character like fixing some colors and optimizing it a bit. And then spent the rest of the work on this, focusing on animations. Making LOTs of them.
-Bioashard Arena 0.2.X: Well, this time I completely focused on our friend, the Cerberus… aaaand it’s finished!
Exactly, even if his AI is still... well, not that good, he now doesn’t go on berserk mode anymore and which is more, he makes his Sexttacks as he should. I’ve been testing specifically that in the past two days and I called it done. So, only a couple more small-system implementations left to be done for the next release.

A bit of transparency doesn’t hurt.

Well as you can read above, Meg has a new PC but we’re not going to talk about it until it gets fixed and works correctly.

Besides that, we’re still looking for the voice actress for Tefa (The Case of T +) so we’ve made some savings for it.

And on the other hand we’re waiting for the Black Friday to see if there's some interesting sales on assets, plugins, animations, etc. All these expensive stuffs, you know.
