Another week, another devlog ~
This week has been a rollercoaster. Unfortunately, the whole Reddit incident and the Twitter commotion kept me busy and left me mentally exhausted. So, from Wednesday onward, my productivity took a bit of a hit. But let’s dive into what I managed to accomplish before that, shall we? 👀
With part of the initial plot written, I’m focusing my efforts on creating the opening scenes of the game.
Remember the storyboard of a cutscene I showed you last week? Well, here’s a slightly more polished version:

Basically, it’s a dream that Kari is having before she wakes up in the morning. XD
So, continuing in that context, I made sketches of each frame of these scenes for the game.

Oh, and let's talk about the game’s title for a moment. I’m still stuck in the great debate:
Yumykon Monogatari: Hakkā ni Damasareru no wa Watashi ja Nai!
versus
Yumyverse! I will not be fooled by a Hacker!
I want something with an anime vibe, but it also has to be catchy and memorable and I also want it to be easily understood. I could really use some convincing arguments or perspectives—help me out here before my brain explodes! 🤯
Last but not least, exciting news: I’m in the process of formalizing my company with a lawyer and accountant. It feels like such a big step forward, and I'm thrilled about it. There’s a lot to do, but I know it's worth every bit of effort.
