Toxic Relationship

So when they heard about the new surgical advances, they didn't hesitate. The operation seemed to be the only thing that could satisfy their frustrations. They would never have to worry about others again. Nothing and no one could ever get in their way again.
The miracle solution? Perhaps not so much. Because although it would now be impossible for them to leave each other, and their jealousy was no longer an issue, a new emotion got in their way. Regret.
Finding balance on their own two feet would not be as easy as they had expected.
