As a believer in ghost/paranormal, it really sucks that the Warrens turned out to be frauds. I first heard of them through these films and thought their story was very cool. Then I looked into them more and found out they were basically scam artist. The family from this first film were scam artist as well. They were broke and about to be evicted so they claimed the house was haunted to avoid eviction. Their story has multiple holes big enough to drive a truck through. As another poor person, I get it. Do what you gotta do lol. Hopefully they made enough money from their story that they're no longer struggling.

2021-06-03 16:20:59 +0000 UTCI love the Mrs.is refusing to look at the screen during the really intense scenes while Mr. Movie is watching like a statue with your eyes darting towards your wife every once in a while. Great contrast. You guys obviously have a lot of fun together.
