It always amuses me how reactors comment on the smoking. And they always reference the "high oxygen" environment in spaceships, like we were talking about the Apollo program or something. The ideal atmosphere in a spaceship where people had to live for years would be the same one we live with on Earth where the oxygen level is actually a relatively small percentage. Even today, on the International Space Station, the atmosphere they breath is 80% nitrogen and 20% oxygen, just like on Earth. Now, that said, there are lots of other reasons we've accumulated since 1979 that would probably prevent the smoking (at least in public areas), but the oxygen level of the atmosphere isn't one of them.
