Neve Campbell was the reason I got to watching this. I met her at a horror convention and she said that this was the scariest movie she’d ever seen. Now granted I didn’t find it scary, but it was super good and glad I watched it.

I need to rewatch it but, the plot of 1973's The Legend of Hell House has a group of paranormal investigators using detection tools to try and get in touch with a dead spirit. I think they used a record (as in: Victrola), writing tools, and some electronic device/s as well. Not to mention the Medium characters, played by Pamela Franklin and Roddy McDowall. Also, not sure, but that also might be the plot of The Haunting, 1963, as well.

2025-10-07 06:20:53 +0000 UTCI've never seen Patton but I saw a clip of it in a YouTube video essay or something recently and... if I didn't already think George C. Scott was one of cinema's sexiest men (Anatomy of a Murder, Dr. Strangelove)... I do now.
