Jang Uk is formally inducted into Songrim, a major step in his journey and a proud moment for both him and Mu-deok. But the celebration has unexpected consequences. Now that Jang Uk is a mage, Mu-deok is no longer permitted within Songrim’s walls, leaving her suddenly cut off and alone. What should have been a shared triumph quietly turns into a moment of separation.
At the same time, we catch our first glimpse of someone who appears to be the long-lost Jin daughter. She arrives by boat, claiming to be looking for her friend Mu-deok. At first, she seems quiet and timid, but when she disembarks, it quickly becomes clear there’s more to her than meets the eye. Her presence raises more questions than answers, and her identity remains far from certain.
Meanwhile, Heo Yun-ok is introduced as a potential match for Jang Uk, and those around them seem eager to push the idea. But Jang Uk shows little interest, and the tension between what others hope for him and what he actually wants begins to surface. As new threads begin to pull at Mu-deok’s past and Uk’s future, the space between them starts to feel more fragile than ever.
