Dev Diary #5 - "Can't Go Back" Arc

Hey everyone,

Quick update on the new arc.

Loved reading the theories about Vivienne! Makes me happy that the design seems to be a hit for many - curious to see reactions when you learn more about her arc.

It wasn't easy to settle on a design. She's a bit of an odd character in all this. Spoiler: That dude in the last CG is not her boyfriend.

Day 3 only offers a peek into her subplot, but it should make for an interesting one.

Development:
• Still working through animations for the public version
• New CGs for the chapter progressing well
• Script ongoing

Scenes like the spoiler preview are a massive pain - anything with multiple characters takes significantly longer but progress has been solid.
Unfortunately had to make some adjustments to the outline this week. The end of this chapter (which closes Act 1) is getting a bit more complex but want to nail it perfectly.

Timeline

Generally aiming for November but not ready to share an exact date just yet. Once the public release rework is done, development will speed up and I'm hoping the general draft/outline holds.
