Whew, busy weekend! Nothing involving car maintenance though, thankfully. No, this was actual good, cool news!

So, some of you may remember that I have a nice little side gig as an editor and assistant admin over at Slipshine.net. Well, that's no longer the case! No, I am now the HEAD of Slipshine! In pirate terms, I don't own the boat, but I AM captain of the ship. I'll be overseeing everything from marketing to site direction.

If you weren't aware, Slipshine is an adult comic publisher that pays artists like us to make comics like these. Truth be told, Rock Cocks actually started off as a failed comic pitch to Slipshine before we went off and made it our own thing, only for you all to make it popular enough that the leadership at the time called us up to license it. Since then, I started working for the site and helped launch a few other amazing weekly comics, some of which I also write. But now I'm overseeing the entire thing, and I plan on making it the best damn original adult comics site on the internet. In fact, we've already launched a major thing that I've been working on for the last few years... a front page redesign of the site! The front page hadn't been touched in ten years much to my utter dismay, but I've been working day and night with the site technician to upgrade it! I had a personal hand in a lot of elements around the redesign, from the text descriptions, images, and even many of the comic series thumbnails. There's also a selection of free comic samples curated by yours truly, which I highly recommend you check it out! You can get a taste of the other comics I write there, along with the rest of the best and newest stuff Slipshine has to offer!

So, what does this mean for Rock Cocks? Nothing, we love this comic and plan on doing it until the very end, which is still very, very far away. Honestly, I think all this has sort of helped with the Rock Cocks direction in terms of writing. Does this mean I'm now a big shot CEO millionaire who doesn't need the Patreon anymore? Jesus christ no, please stay subscribed, we need the money. Slipshine is a VERY small company and I'm not taking any sort of pay increase until I can ensure I can raise pay rates for Slipshine artists. Beyond that, I also just like running this Patreon and posting stuff for you. I really love doing these blog posts. Will this affect the game we're also working on, My Naked Life? Nah, that's still progressing smoothly. Check that out too, if you haven't! It's looking great!

But yeah, that's what's been going on. Slipshine means a lot to me, and I've been dreaming of being in this role for years now. I want to make sure it does well and that other people have the chance to make a living making the kind of adult comics they want to make, same as Leslie and I. I'm extremely excited for the future of the site and I'll do whatever I can to make it grow, and Rock Cocks is a major part of that.
