Hurricane Francine Destroys Louisiana, Temporarily Disrupts Local Adult Webcomic Schedule
Added 2024-09-16 02:01:20 +0000 UTCLeslie and I have survived another hurricane! Category 2? More like Category BOO! You're gonna have to try a lot harder than that to take us out! But please don't, because this sucked.
So yeah. We went 72 hours without power. Stuck inside this house in the middle of swamp-ass Louisiana with no AC, using only minimal water to prevent sewage overflow, eating only peanut butter sandwiches, sleeping on the couch because our bedrooms didn't have enough air circulation. We may have gone a little stir-crazy. Thankfully there was no other damages, but we got EXTREMELY lucky that one of our trees fell the way it did.
The cats are okay! I don't think Nico is smart enough to realize anything was different, but Bart seems relieved that things are back to normal and he can drool all over Leslie again. We spent today cleaning up the house after our humid encampment and the yard from it's disaster debris. Now it's almost like a hurricane never blew through here.
While we were able to get a page done before the hurricane hit and had enough mobile data to post it on Friday, we didn't have the electricity to get Monday's page done. We're still recovering a bit from the heat haze of 72 hours of no AC, not to mention everything else in its aftermath. Still need to go grocery shopping and replenish all the freezer/fridge food we lost. If you're a free-tier supporter, we would highly encourage and appreciate it if you threw some support our way via joining any of the tiers. Not only would you help us afford restocking our fridge, but you'll also get tons of bonus comics, pin ups, and lots of great Leslie art. Trust me, it's absolutely worth it if you like this comic and want a whole lot more of it.
But yeah, just letting you all know we're okay! We'll be back on Friday with a new page! Thank you all so much, and see you soon!

When power was out in Texas after Beryl having a bathtub with running water was a godsend. Lovely to just shower and then soak after clearing the debris.

2024-09-16 10:57:16 +0000 UTCAs long as you're all intact and safe. Food can be replaced, belongings outside can be replaced. If the main damage has been that poor tree, then that's good news at least.

2024-09-16 02:12:36 +0000 UTCGlad you're safe. I live in tornado Alley so I know those high winds can be fucking scary in a trailer house. You should add a higher tier so us groupies can help out a little more for a couple months.
