October ROADMAP for "the Month of Monsters!"
Added 2019-10-02 14:00:03 +0000 UTC
Welcome to October! My very favorite month! It's Halloween, the leaves are changing, the weather is finally cooling down, and it's the month Annie and I had our first date! So to celebrate, this October is going to be one of our biggest months yet here, with a new monster each week and a ton of bonus content!
So what to expect?
For the Monster of the Month series: our theme will be "Halloween Monsters and Maidens!" For the monsters, I already have several new ones ready to go, but for the maidens, there were so many ideas that I couldn't pick one. So, I need your help! Later this week I will be putting up a poll with all my sketches to see which ones you think would be best to add to the series!
Also, I'm excited to announce Monster-of-the-Month PRINTS and STICKERS will finally be available starting later this month on the Gallerygerard.com store! Watch for a post about that, (and maybe a sneaky little discount code) in the next week or so!

For the Classic Fantasy Illustration for the month, we are going to be diving into #Inktober! For last year's event we did this one:

For this year's #Inktober I am going to be doing watercolor and ink landscapes from the Plague of Dragons series! I will be sharing the inks and final paintings here on Patreon first, and the originals will be available at Illuxcon later this month.
To go along with these new watercolors, I am going to be sharing my method for painting in ink and watercolor in a new, written, in-depth guide for this month's Tutorial! If you haven't checked out the tutorial series yet, this is the month to. I will be covering the complete process as well as tools I recommend!

Thanks again everybody for all your support! This month is going to be a lot of fun. :D

Hey you're welcome! I'm looking forward to it! :D It's been too long since I've had a chance to splash around in watercolor.
