Hello there, just checking if the Creality Sprite extruder is coming soon to the compatibility list. Thanks

Isaac

I printed the fans ducts in the Mercury file. they are the ones that are still not long enough

Foleysshop

I have now printed the carriage for the Mercury 1.1. While the carriage certainly looks like it will work. The fan ducts do not appear to be long enough. I checked the angle of the bend towards the hot end and it seems to be short by maybe ten mm. Is there some different way? I checked if there was a different base or something. there is not.

Foleysshop

I have proven if you look long enough in the Zip file of Hero me you can find whatever you need. I found the Mercury One file for Gantry

Foleysshop

I have now settled on the Mercury 1 for the Core XY conversion. Any suggestions you might have on which files or gantry adapters I might use.

Hii, I have Ender 3v2 with dual z axis, stock hotend and extruder , BIGTREETECH SKR MINI E3 V3.0 board, and cr touch. So please can you suggest me what files i need to install the hero gen 7 with dual 5015 fans

Chaos

I am trying to retrofit the Hero Me gen 7 onto a Ender 5 I am trying the Core XY conversion on Thingiverse by BoothBooth

Foleysshop

Thank you, and thank you for your support!

Andrew Soderberg

It's great to see that you're still here! I'm sorry to hear the break wasn't for positive reasons, and by all means don't let the hero me harm your health; take as much time as you need. Also we aren't trying to create a mutiny we just didn't want to see the project fizzle out in case something had happened to you, it's purely out of admiration for your work.

Yes, but it matters to know how the CoreXY belts are positioned as there are different gantry adapters for a couple of different Ender 5 CoreXY conversions. Did you purchase a kit, or follow an open source conversion? Which one?

Andrew Soderberg

My apologies, I had to step away from the Hero Me project for the past few months while I have been away on a health break (an overwhelming amount of issues have happening in my life and with my family that I have had to focus on). I am back now and slowly catching up on my large backlog of questions from my members across 5 platforms. I will be making a post for everyone here and on Discord this weekend.

is there a gantry adapter for Gen7 to fit on an upward facing linear rail. like in an ender 5 core xy conversion?

Foleysshop

Try adding me as a friend, messages from non friends are filtered to requests which don't notify me, but I do check on. Maybe you're the one I just accepted in fact

Dec uhh

won't let me PM but I'll take an invite.

To anyone still paying for mediaman's silence, we are developing a free to join discord community for the users of hero me to develop discuss and troubleshoot the hero me, where i as well as a few other experienced users can help you get started and finished. we pretty much do that on the official discord already but we dont wanna pay to do mediamans job. PM Dekatater (me) on discord for an invite.

Almost 5 months since the last post/update. Anything coming or are we all just subscribed for the fun of it? Lol

So I'm trying to get this setup on a Ender 3 Max Neo, but I cannot get the Gantry Adapter plate to line up with my Gantry plate, I've tried flipping and spinning it every possible way. Is there some secret to this or is there a secondary adapter for the Ender 3 Max Neo?

Riley Thompson

Andrew, sorry for duplicating my questions also in this thread, but you often mentioned the compatibility of HeroMe components across generations. I have a question: can I use cooling ducts from version 7 for version 6, or are there any potential airflow focal point mismatches? And if it is OK, from which version should I use duct offset checkers then? And one more question: what's the optimal way to install the endoscope mount in version 6? Is it possible to backport a model from version 7 for this purpose?

Are there any plans for support for the LGX revo micro kit? I would love to eliminate the short bowden tube as bondtech offers a direct adapter for the revo micro, but can't find a mounting solution. All I can find are separate mounting, not using the bondtech direct adapter. Love your work!

Alec Slomski

I am attempting to mount a Gen 7 gantry adaptor to a 3DFused Master X-Carriage and I thought I needed to print "HMG7.2 3DFused Master X Carriage Gantry Adapter.stl" but I am not getting this stl file to match up to the Master X-Carriage. Is there another stl file I need to print instead?"

Keith Gray

i need help to find exakt what i need to print With The stuff i have

Peter Berg

Are there any plans for mounting hardware for the BIQU b1 se plus? The b1 stl's either don't work for the se plus or I don't understand what I'm doing. Both are equally possible :)

Kristopher Clark

Hey! I`m a little bit confused about choosing which STLs I need to match my hardware, anyone who can please help?

Kevin Neuhausen

Component selection seems to be missing information regarding on which hotend mounts are made for TriangleLab TCHC TR6

I have a couple of suggestion to further improve the HMv7 With the gantry for the Micro Swiss Direct Drive for the Ender 3. Make it a 2 part gantry without the beam that passes behind the hotend to join both sides. As the hot end is uniquely connected to the gantry for the MSDD E3 option it is not needed for rigidity and it's removal makes removing the entire Hero Me setup very easy. With it connected it is quite difficult and lengthy to get to the hot end for standard chores as you have to disassemble most of the HM to do that. Also I suggest that you add "Self Tapping Thread Inserts" for the Winnsin 5015 part cooling blower fans as the Knurled M3 hot press Inserts ones (OD M5) are too small and just fall through the hole. These self tappers are very snug and allow you to connect the fans via bolts from the outside rather than the other side (which is impossible and ends up in a catch 22 with other parts). https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004111782566.html Just some ideas ...

I have an ender 3 stock. I am a spider high temp hot end and i seem to be having a hard time figuring out what parts i need to print

Robert

Does it work with a stock ender 3

Robert

hello mediaman3d! I have fully 3d modeled the x carriage of the ender 3 s1. I have it in both step and stl format, whichever you prefer. i'm not sure how to send you the files though, do I send it on discord? and if so, what cat do I post in? thank you for your patience with helping me finish my project.

Nate Johnson

So close! Could you provide the Hypercube gantry adapter for a traditional Tech2C/HC300 build. The main difference is the 10m rod/cable spacing. I wonder if we can actually get away with just creating a gantry adapter to fit the standard Tech2C style mount pattern? It would be great to have some more mounting options for my most faithful machine! I am currently using quite a few modded pieces from the HC300 revision, but the spacings are all the same. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4757636 Just the generic Tech2C X-Carriage is only a stone's throw away from the Hypercube Evolution. Thanks in advance if it makes it into a new revision! https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1752766

need help for complete assembly of hero 7 . Kingroon kp3s with afterburner extruders.... I miss how to connect the afterburner extruder to the base .... I use 2 fan 5015- eazbl touch

The Ender 3 S1 integrated extruder/hotend is not supported because it is too wide. But if you want to replace that with quality 3rd party gear, it is possible. I will check to see if I have a compatible gantry adapter If not, I would need a STEP or STL of the X carriage, then I can easily create one to fit. If no digital file is available, then I would need caliper measurements of the Carriage dimensions plus center to center and center to two side for all the holes and mounting points i. Order for me to model the X carriage and the make a gantry adapter.

Andrew Soderberg

Not sure you're going to get a response but in his documents he states that the Ender S1 line isn't supported because it's too large or too wide.

Victor Reyes

Hey MediaMan3d! How's it going? I was wondering if you could help me out. Do you think any of the gantry mounts would work with the Ender 3 S1 gantry plate? Thanks!

Nate Johnson

@MediaMan3D I have noticed an issue with the MK8 / Ender 3 hotend mount on the Gen 7 components. When doing tests for Pressure Advance and Extrusion Multiplier I have noticed a large amount of vibrations coming from the hotend flexing. While my way of correcting it was crude it does work. I took inspiration from the Gen 5 style mount and made a small riser off the rear mounting plate that gave me the same offset as the modern hotend mount. This also required me to trim a large amount of the base fan shroud to access the bolts. After doing such the print quality is significantly improved. Any way for you to add this an option or maybe similar?

Ian Campbell

Apologies, I am working down a several hundred question/request backlog. I am sending you a direct message.

Andrew Soderberg

You have 3 STL choices: HMG7.3 Haldis Red Lizard Collar Mount.stl HMG7.3 Haldis Red Lizard Screw Mount V2.stl HMG7.3 Haldis Red Lizard Screw PC4-M10 Mount.stl These are all compatible with the K1 Pro-HF. Theses STL files are in the /Hotend Mounts/Hotends/ folder of the ZIP.

Andrew Soderberg

I have been posting issues with the Micro Revo files on Discord in the hero-me-gen7-support topic, but have not had any comment or reply in 10 days. Am I posting in a dead/obsolete topic? Or is support not really actively given?

Footleg

Hello, where is the file for Haldis Red Lizard K1 Pro-HF?

captainwatte

Hi, Thank you for your great effots. I joined the discord community but I can't see the messages. Could you please help? My Discord ID is Mohamad Khalil#5404. Thank you for your kind help.
