Rondeau M379 - Group C For Assetto Corsa

Thank you for being patient, because it took some time to finish another car in our Group C collection - Rondeau M379 built by legendary privatee Jean Rondeau!
Same as Lancia LC1 (that we can race already) M379 came to Group C from previous LM era. And same as LC1 it was very light. No wonder Jean Rondeau made some big success on this car!
Same as lot of others car it was powered by engine from Cosworth with F1 engine. During the years it was few variations of the Cosworth on M379. I'm sure teams were seeking for better durability during the long races. Because it was precedents about reliability of this V8 heart...
In 1980 before Group C this car won LM! It won 2 laps from Porsche 908/80 Turbo #936/80-004 and it was super result!
Another M379 finished trird. Next year 1981 it was third again. Later the car became uncompetitive, because comptitors were also moving forward. So Jean Rondeau built another car...coming in next posts =)
