Quest Failed: Chapter Two - Alpha Build 1

Hiya there!

I wrapped things up a bit later than I intended today for the first alpha build release, but it's still the 5th in some countries, so it counts!

The build is now uploaded and ready to go! I'll be sending it to--and rapidly updating it for all those who are pledging $25 or more--and by the end of the month I'm sure it will have a great deal more content for you to enjoy~

Now--this is the first ceremonial alpha release, so I would like to reiterate some points I've brought up in the past concerning the alpha, to keep everyone's expectations in check:

- This is a small beginning portion of the game, not the full game. (Though it will steadily be iterated on now that the groundwork is laid out, until the full game and all its content is here)

- There are many rough, placeholder assets in place. Reused music where new music will be used soon, no music at all in some places, and some missing backgrounds. Some sprites will also be refined, as I'm not entirely happy with the quality of how some turned out.

- Jilly's h-scene art is placeholder and will be replaced down the line as I feel its style ended up being far too different.

- To add to this, there are no voiced h-scenes present right now. These will be added quite rapidly, though.

- At some points through the game, some choices will be missing, or locked out from play until they're more fully fleshed out and suitable for the alpha. If some choice segments feel sparse right now, this is why.

- In a lot of cases, the writing isn't finalised, meaning later on, according to feedback, or my own personal choices, I may tweak written scenes present here. Though in turn, this is also a great chance to let your voice be heard on elements you like/dislike!

- I've painstakingly gone through and tried to squash out game crashing buts, but in this early state I cannot guarantee things are bug free.

- Don't get attached to your save file! Expect things to change and for incompatibility issues to arise through the months.

That said--I really do hope people enjoy what's done so far, and I look forward to gathering feedback!
