Quest Failed: Chapter Two - Alpha Status Update

I just wanted to take a quick moment everyone interested in the alpha builds of the game who have been so patiently supporting me. I sincerely appreciate you all and am sorry to have kept you waiting.
So, while I can't say that the new alpha build is out yet...it's not far away!
I will release 0.3 of the alpha on the 29th of September. (This month!)
Some things you can expect will be:
- Some more polished/updated backgrounds in some areas that had placeholders, etc.
- Voices added to several existing h-scenes, and if all goes according to plan, the next new h-scene in this build should come fully voiced!
- Expanding more on Matt's day-to-day interactions, with some interactions available at different times of the day. Not every place will be available yet, but it's being steadily fleshed out!
- A continuation of the main plot line with a meeting with the Queen that will shed some light on one of the biggest mysteries so far (no, not what happened to the pigeon!)
Along with some other minimal stuff in regards to mechanics behind the scene and other key systems in play like the previously showcased progress screen, etc.
Please look forward to it, and I hope you have as much fun experiencing it as I've had making it~

Oh YES, the pigeon! I had totally forgotten about our avian hero. :D

2017-09-27 04:48:21 +0000 UTCThe pigeon was in Chapter 1 and a bit of a (literal) throwaway gag near the end where Ruby misunderstands how messenger pigeons work, hurling a poor, frightened bird towards the capital. And also stole all the glory, completing the quest in Matt's stead resulting in another failed outing for him. It was a bit of a silly thing I wrote in at the last moment, but the bird did gain a lot of popularity, haha.
