Quest Failed: Chapter Two - Dev Log #39

Hiya there, everyone!

Whew... It's been a hectic few days building up to the launch of the demo, but now that it's out there--and hopefully you're all enjoying it--I'd like to try and get things back on track, starting with another dev log!

I realise that I've been showcasing so much stuff from the newer characters that I've neglected to show some love to the original cast that we all know and love~ So here's a bit of a sneak peek at a rather...involved scene of Jilly's!

I actually wanted to do a scene like this in the first chapter, but ran into trouble securing artists that were able to do it within the time frame of the original release. I even had all the voice files ready for it and everything! It just sadly didn't all come together in the end and I had to make some cuts here and there to ensure a timely release without delaying things too much longer. (Maybe if there was any interest I could share the existing voice files as a bonus, as with the current incarnation of the scene now the old voice clips can no longer be used with it!)

And while I don't do this often, I thought as a fun bit of extra material I would share the original rough planned posing intended for this scene in Chapter One~

I've actually one-upped things from the original concept as you can see from this sketch--where it was just intended to be two slime girls originally for the sake of reducing costs. But with the power of an increased budget and more dedicated artists at hand, I've been able to add a third new sticky element into the mix in the final version present in Chapter Two. And to think--poor Matt was left drained enough after just one slime girl! Is he even going to survive three at a time?! You have to wonder just how a situation like this comes about, too, since it's not like Jilly to share!
