Quest Failed: Chapter Two - Dev Log #42

Hi, hi! I feel perhaps I've been a touch sluggish with posts this month, so I do apologise--but today I'm back with a new dev log!

As the soundtrack comes together, today I wanted to showcase another amazing composition from our talented composer, Noyemi K. This track in particular will be used during some of the more dramatic battles that may be present in the story. It doesn't necessarily exist to completely replace the battle track I had in place, but felt some more serious encounters deserved something a little more special! As for who, or what young Matt may be facing to deserve such specially crafted music--well, I'll leave it your imagination!

One of the main benefits from having a soundtrack being made specifically for the game is the presence of familiar elements from track to track to give a cohesive feeling behind each song, as if they all link together in some way, calling back to one another--and if you listen carefully I'm sure you'll hear some parts that echo other tracks present in the original soundtrack so far~

Finally, I wanted to cap off the dev log with a small teaser of a certain someone getting their sprite remade, of which they were long overdue!

I imagine it's fairly obvious who it might be--but it's still fun to tease~ Look forward to their new reveal down the line!
