Quest Failed: Chapter Two - Dev Log #47

While forging ahead on the Chapter One update (which is coming together nicely!) I don't want to let the regular dev logs of Chapter Two fall to the wayside. So today's dev log might be a bit smaller than usual, but only while Chapter One is being wrapped up.
At the present moment with Chapter Two's development I've been sorting through a lot of voiced lines and preparing them to be implemented into a lot of h-scenes. And hey, it's been a while since I've teased things on the voice related side, so enjoy a short clip (roughly edited, not representative of how it will sound in game!) from everybody's favourite bewitching lamia~ Aria Lynn knocks it out of the park again with another fantastic performance, and I really do get chills every time I hear Lucille come to life in these h-scenes with her trademark raspy tone that worms (snakes?) its way into your ears and really makes you feel like you're there beside her.
I'll leave it to your imagination on what might be transpiring here, but I'll say that this particular h-scene is pretty different from most of the others present in the game. Poor little Matt just can't help but find himself wrapped up in Lucille's schemes...or tail...or both!
Also, if there's any interest, one day I've love to go step by step through the process of creating a h-scene, from constructing the original idea, to writing it out, to getting the scene drawn (and the general process for this, going with the constraints of the visual novel) along with finally sending the script off to get it voiced. I think it'd make for a really interesting behind-the-scenes look at things and show the crazy amount of work that goes into even just a single h-scene, let alone 40+!
That'll about do it for today's log, but let me know what you think--and if there's maybe any other voice samples you'd love to hear from characters, as lots of things are starting to come together in that department now~
