Quest Failed: Chapter Two - Dev Log #55 + Small Announcement

Hiya there!

Bet you didn't expect to see me again so soon, huh? That actually brings me to the first part of this dev log--namely the small announcement.

From tomorrow (Wednesday, 6th June), I'll be away from home until Monday (11th June).

This doesn't affect things too much in the greater scheme of it all, but it means I'll be away from my main computer and won't be able to rapidly respond to any issues or do my regular development logs until I return on Monday. So I'm posting a special dev log ahead of time so you guys still have something to look at and not feel completely neglected, because I love you all and spoil you all rotten. <3

I will have my phone with me and be able to respond to things in a limited capacity if anyone has any burning questions or issues they want to throw at me. But in that case it will be easiest to drop me a message through email at unlimitedfrostworks@gmail.com or locate me in discord and send a message there, since I'll have Discord on my phone. As with Patreon I have sometimes have issues logging into on my phone to see messages and such.

This also does cut into my plans for the alpha, but when I get back on the Monday releasing the new build will be my utmost priority for all those waiting. I thank you all for your patience and I know it's been a bit of a bumpy road with it, but will continue to find fun ways to make it up to you all! (More bonus seasonal illustrations perhaps? Those are always fun~)

Finally--we move on to the actual dev log portion of this post! I've attached a private, unlisted video, but hopefully it all still runs. If anyone has any issues playing the video, let me know and I'll find an alternative way to show it to you!

With all the talk of Claire last time, I wanted to make a quick little video showcasing the beginning of her scene and to show some more of her voice acting, sans any written narration so things flow better.

The general gist of it is that Claire has invited young Matt back to her house to make him dinner, to thank him for all his heroic efforts. (Whatever those may have been!) And she perhaps panicked a little and cooked a little more than the pair of them can eat, struggling with the plate. From there...things get a little messy! What might happen to our brave adventurer in such a situation, and where might things go next?

Claire's been a really fun character to write for, since she's so different from the other girls who are always flirty or confident. But Claire has none of that--and is moreso a bumbling, neurotic merchant who has a knack for getting herself into all kinds of clumsy situations. I just love her, haha. And I hope you will too~
