Patreon Processing Woes

Hiya there,

I just wanted to make a quick post on this subject--though I'm sure more than a few of you may be already aware:

It appears that due to Patreon changing the method in which it processes its payments, it appears to triggered a lot of false fraud flags for many people pledging to a variety of things and thus declining their cards/payments.

Their current solution seems to be trying new cards, or to go through PayPal, but I'm unsure how effective these solutions are or what further action people may need to take. And if all else fails, to directly call the bank--which is less than convenient.

It seems that Patreon is aware of, and working to correct this issue as best they can, though admittedly it does muddle my methods of distributing rewards.

So depending on what you guys feel is best, I can either:

1. Send out rewards today to all who may be currently processed and unaffected by the issue, and then send out the rewards again tomorrow to everyone who processes after--potentially doubling up on messages and muddling things up a little while I try my best to sort it out.

2. Wait until tomorrow potentially to see if Patreon has worked out its issues and allows everyone's payments to go through, delaying things an extra day--which is something I really wanted to avoid and I don't want to disappoint you guys, but it's also the 'neatest' way to go about things and avoid a spiderweb of messages going out.

Please let me know what you think, and what the best course of action may be--as my biggest priority is making sure you're all happy! And hopefully this will be the last time we all run into such frustrating issues.

Yeah, it seems to be a little bit all over the place for each patron which makes it more of a headache to try and sort through, haha. Dx But tomorrow on the 3rd I'm going to send everything out and then try to catch up with people who may process a little later. Fingers crossed this won't become a regular occurrence! I can't apologise enough for the delay!

Well, I can only speak for myself and on my end, my pledges seems to have gone through. At least thats what my history told me.
