Hiya, again! I'm back with another big surprise leading up to spooky ol' Halloween (and not the last one, either!)

And gosh is this one definitely appropriate for Halloween! (I'd advise those that are squeamish to look away--though I guess it's probably too late since the text is BELOW the image, huh? Oh, well~)

Today's piece is brought to us by a longtime artist, Mogucho, who has contributed many assets to Quest Failed across multiple chapters! Without them, I'm sure QF wouldn't have taken off nearly as well as it did--so I'm truly grateful they continue to work with me even to this date. It's really been an honour~

This sort of doubles as both a 'bonus art' thing AND a 'guest art' post I think--so I've went ahead and made it public, given the artist will be posting it, too. So I don't want to paywall it, haha.

But moving along~ This absolutely gorgeous (and gory) piece illustrates a fairly tragic character undergoing some 'maintenance'--trapped in a prison of stitched up flesh and body parts that bind what little of her soul that might remain into eternal servitude. Something of a depressing fate, with no escape in sight.

Despite this sad situation, though, Mogucho has been able to capture a perfect balance of beauty in her pose and expression--while also keeping to a restrained amount of blood as to not detract too much from the main focus, but still illustrating just how gruesome it all is. I was completely blown away when I first saw it <3 If you look closely, you'll see a glove gripping her arm, too. Now I wonder who that could be? Aaaaaahhhh!

Oh, where is she from, she might ask? I suppose that's a secret for now~ Maybe we'll see her again in the near(ish) future, who can say?
