Happy Halloween~ (2019)

Hi, hi, hi! Happy Halloween, everyone! May you have a spooky day filled with terror and frights! Or, uh, you could just stay at home and munch on some candy--that works, too!

As promised, I'm back. Again. With another piece of wonderful art. AGAIN. Gosh--I really am spoiling you guys this month, aren't I? November is gonna look so bleak in terms of content when we compare it to the jam-packed, non-stop ride of October! I'll just have to try and find new ways to one up myself then, won't I?

Believe or not, that previous piece before with the Frankenmaid was just a wonderful bonus--a piece of art I wasn't even expecting to have received from the artist! So in the meantime I had commissioned another piece as is tradition at this point for Halloween with Frostworks~

So with the help of Azalanz, we put together this wonderful spooky piece featuring a girl who doesn't get enough love around here; the beloved necromancer, Hood-chan~ Minus the hood this time around.

Inspired by the likes of Monster Girl Encyclopedia's Jiangshi attire (or outright using it as the main reference lol), we've given the hooded girl quite the makeover here as she swaps roles for one night and becomes one of the undead she commands! Rumour has it that, that every Halloween, she'll rise from the depths in search of cuddles. Will you welcome her search for affection with outstretched arms? I'm sure nothing tooooo bad will happen!

I really love how this piece turned out, from the fluffy hair, to the way the lighting of the moon illuminates her adorable form--I could gush all day about it and still not even be halfway done!

Now since this is the first time we've seen the hooded girl without her hood and more bulky clothing, it should be noted that what you here is something of a non-canon glimpse of her wonderful body. Certain aspects of her are quite a bit more curvy than how she might actually be--but for the sake of the Halloween illustration I decided to not be too strict on how she was portrayed. Since, hey, who's to say she CAN'T grow a giant chest and get such thick, wonderful thighs down the line? Dolls are made to be upgrade-able, after all!
