(Day 85 after awakening)
His Ki Control had improved drastically. Maybe it was due to him spamming his Ki Blasts, but ever since then his progress had skyrocketed.
His ability to strengthen his body with Ki (He was just going to call it Ki Strengthening) had its efficiency increased a lot. Back then he needed 2 hands to carry his bed, but now he could carry it with only one hand while the bed was filled with his textbooks and heavy things that he could find.
And his Ki Blasts had increased in its size and power, from his limit being a simple ping pong ball with about 20% of his Ki before it explodes, to a Ki Blast the size of a baseball that could now hold 30-ish%.
Progress, people!
In the meanwhile, he wasn’t only doing training for Ki. He was also training his body as well. Ki is the coordination of the body and mind, he read from somewhere online while researching about Ki. The mind moves, and the body follows. If the body cannot keep up with the mind, then the Ki is less efficient, something like that.
So, he requested for training equipment from his parents by showing an urge to play soccer. Why soccer? Well, it’s good since it increases aerobic capacity and cardiovascular health, along with improving muscle tone.
Again, he got it from the internet. Thank the gods that Google was still here in this world.
Anyways, he needed a sport, of any kind, to disguise his intentions, and he had to do research on finding the best sport for his agility and stamina. No way his parents would let him train martial arts after the few fainting sessions that he had.
After convincing his parents via acting as if he had just become Ronaldo’s superfan, he is now receiving a small sum of allowance to buy soccer-based training gear, nothing else. To make it worse, his purchases were getting tracked by the family’s allowance manager, meaning he couldn’t buy more intensive gear until he had proven himself. Bummer.

(Day 92 after awakening)
He floated! Honest to the gods, he floated!
By willing the Ki in his body to surround himself, he clumped them together before creating tendrils that pull on his body before controlling them to float. This took a whole lot of concentration and Ki, but he managed to raise an inch from the ground.
Though, he couldn’t get higher than an inch due to his, unfortunately, low mastery of Ki Control, so he had to put this aside for now with an emphasis to come back as soon as he sees another visible improvement in his Ki Control.
Man, he was so excited to fly. For now, though, Ki beams are his main priority.

(Day 108 after awakening)
He had successfully performed a Beam Attack, and it was glorious.
Using the same formula for creating a Ki Blast, he instead shaped the attack into a cylinder instead of a sphere and added a few properties. First, the property to continue in a straight line even after cutting its Ki source. And after that, any property could be added to the mix. Explosion upon impact, vaporization, etc.
There’s just one teeny tiny problem… The Ki Consumption was too high.
Currently, if he wanted to create a Ki Blast with minimal Ki, he had to use about 4-5% of his total Ki reserves for the initial creation, and then 1% a minute to feed it with properties or more Ki for an increase in damage.
Creating a Ki Beam Attack, however, required about 40% to create one with 5 inches in radius, and another 10% to 20% of Ki to maintain the beam per second.
Using it for the first time caused him to almost faint if it weren’t for the fact that he kinda has gotten used to the feeling. Adaptation, baby.
Yeah, not going to try this again until his reserves were 2 or 3 times larger than his current state.
…
Oh, who was he kidding, he was so going to spam this every day. This was a childhood dream come true.

(Day 123 after awakening)
Turns out, spamming Beam Attacks did help with his Ki reserve.
His Ki reserves were like a muscle. Train it, and it would increase. And for him, he has been abusing it since day one of training, meaning his reserves have increases significantly.
Another thing that he found out was the more constant the strain, the more Ki the body produces. Every day from waking up from the bed to before sleeping, he had been consistently draining his Ki by letting it flow out of his body.
He was forcing his body to adapt to the Ki drains, human adaptation is the new age, he only feels a little sad that he wasn’t a Saiyan, the adaptation would go crazy, but having Ki was already amazing.
In turn, he coincidently created a new skill in his arsenal of Ki techniques. By covering his whole body with Ki and condensing it, it creates a barrier similar to Aura from RWBY where it acts as a force field that blocks attacks.
He calls it… Ki Aura, very original, he knows. The aura shines a hue around his body, similar to how one could see some distortions from a distance during a rather hot day. His body radiates heat due to Ki being heat based. Kinda reminds him of Mat Pat’s theory of Ki from back in the day.
Good times.
So far, when comparing the previous month to this one’s, he could confidently say that his Ki reserves had increased a total of 100%, give or take. And he did the math, theoretically he could gain 3 times more if he continues this, meaning KI BEAM ATTACKS, BABY!
Time to intensity his training again then, he wants to fire beams for minutes on end!

(Day 137 after awakening)
He watched as shit unfolded in the Stark Expo… From his TV, since not one of his parents had the time for it, and his nanny was a bitch towards him (At least she still does her job of watching over him), to which he was thankful for. He is definitely not prepared for this kind of carnage yet.
Crunching on some popcorn that he heated up with his Ki, he dug his hand into the packaging to grab more, only to sigh at the now empty packaging.
Without even moving, his body starts to float as he levitated towards the kitchen and back, this time with a pack of chips.
Yeah, he could finally float now, indefinitely too since floating takes not much Ki, and his Ki regeneration is off the roofs due to all the Ki training (More like abuse) that he has done.
Landing on the sofa cushions of his couch, he rips the pack of ships open when he suddenly watched a man running towards the camera team of the news channel get squashed by debris. Huh, he was surprised that the news channel was still filming instead of running away —
And they were finally cut off with the screen saying “Technical Difficulties”. Darn, that’s unfortunate, he didn’t even see Iron Man or War Machine…
Oh well, time to train again.
Turning off the TV, he floats to the center of the living room before getting into a lotus position. With an exhale, flame like aura bursts from his body, flickering as Dave multitasks, creating a Ki Aura while using Ki Strengthening to strengthen his whole body to the limit.

(Day 213 after awakening)
Now, one may say that much green is good… But hell, too much green hurts his eyes.
“Fuck, the mosquitos are everywhere…”
With a flair of condensed Ki, he generated a Ki Aura in the shape of a fire to kill off every damn microorganism around his body with heat.
Maybe he should have planned for this experiment in another place, like Mount Marcy for example. Closer to his home, and less tropical. Yeah, maybe the Amazon Forest was a teeny bit too far.
Yep, Dave was currently in the Amazon Forest, floating towards the center of the forest. The questions that one may are asking right now are, how and why.
As for how, he finally got the hang of flying. It was just floating with more Ki to speed up, slow down, elevate and descend. Simple enough for yours truly. Still don’t know how he even got here without any issues, though.
Sure, he could have tried to do this experiment of his somewhere closer, but he was not going to test this out near NY, paranoia be damned.
The why though, that is the question. You see, he had been training… For almost 200 plus days now. Couple that with daily abuse of his Ki, and the added mastery over Ki Control and his other techniques…
He could, theoretically, fire a Beam Attack for an hour now.
Hmm, he really should get an indicator of how much Ki he has instead of using percentages, it would make life much easier. Maybe user Yamcha as an indication? 1 Yamchas, 2 Yamchas…
Oh, off topic. Ahem! So, he could, hypothetically, expend enough Ki to fly indefinitely at 100 miles an hour and fire off Beam Attack after Beam Attack without feeling faint. Sure, there is the tiredness aspect if one does that, but on the bright side, he now had enough Ki for the ultimate test.
Finding a nice clearing with good amounts of space for him to move, he landed on the ground, ignoring the weird feeling of his feet touching wet muddy dirt as he took a deep breath.
This was it, the moment of truth.
Dragging his right foot backwards, he twists his foot for stability as his left foot was facing the front. Cupping both palms into a double palm striking pose, he raises it towards the imaginary target before he focused deep within him.
In an instant, Ki bursts out from his body and started to condense between his hands, his hands shaking from the amount of power being sent through them. The winds around him rise up from the sudden heat so fast that the trees around him start to shake from the pressure.
Twisting his body, he lets his hands follow along the motion until the two hands rested below his right hip.
“Ka… Meee…”
The first threshold of Ki was reached, as the ball of Ki in between his hands started expanding, glowing a shining neon blue. The heat from the Ki ball alone was hotter than anything he had created with his Ki.
“Ha… Meee…”
This alone already took 20% of his total Ki, estimating to be more than 100 full power Ki Blasts. And his intrusive thoughts won in his head as he pumped more Ki into the technique, increasing the size of the ball of Ki in his arms.
He felt the drain instantly as his Ki levels dropped. 71%... 42%... 28%... 9%! He stops channeling Ki into the beam before yelling at the top of his lungs.
“HAAAA!!!”
He thrusts his arms forwards, and the turtle devastation wave fired from his arms, disintegrating everything and anything that the beam touched. The recoil from the beam was so large that he had to sink his supporting leg deeper into the dirt before he gets thrown off by his own technique.
He maintained the beam for another few seconds before cutting the source, his Ki levels now hitting below 3%, and watched with a mesmerizing stare as the Kamehameha Wave slowly faded into blue motes after running out of fuel.
Panting, he stared at his tremoring hands. Seems like he unleashed too much Ki at a single moment, his arms hurt so bad.
Suddenly feeling dizzy, he landed on his butt as he slumped his shoulders. He felt so… tired. Witnessing the straight line of destruction, he couldn’t help but laugh tiredly.
He did it. A Kamehameha Wave, this was something that everyone his age would have tried in their childhood, and he finally did it.
The training was so worth it.
But god damn, was he tired.
