Maxie's New Sleepwear, remastered sketch of my first ever pic! - SKETCHES - April 7th

So. . . it has been four years I opened my FurAffinity, it will be 4 in July. it's crazy because it feels like nothing, like two years. I dont know why but I never thought about remastering my old works aside from really old crappy sketches, like Rudolph and Asriel sketches. I decided to do them bc Auri suggested it and I feel like my art has evolved tremendously over the course of 4 years, so what better way to compare than directly reimagine something I made as my first post :) But I digress.

The first ever pic to be posted onto my FA was my femboy shork, Maxie doing a cute lil pose. There are alot of differences between present day Maxie and the first ever pic of Maxie. Ig the first pic was just a proof of concept, test the waters. The notable changes in design I made to her is her hands are white now, she doesn't have fox ears but now sonar ears, and that now she's a shy and reserved femboy instead of a confident type. That's cuz her older sis Lili is confident to counter her personality. She's also way more creative :D

And then with my artstyle itself, well it's kinda hard to say so early on because I haven't rendered yet. BUTT you can definitely tell my femboys are wayyy thicker lol. Auri always says i draw my femboys way on the thicker side but idk, I like it most that way. Also, I can tell I'm better with texturing. I couldn't really tell what Maxie's old sleepwear is lol. It simultaneously looks like cotton, latex, and sheer leggings all at the same time haha. Anyways, there's tons of tiny improvements that I can already tell too; like better composition, smoother and more natural anatomy, cleaner lines, better expressions etc., all that stuff you learn as an artist regardless of your field of expertise. I can tell when I render this that it's already gonna look insanely different and honestly better... hopefully.

It's really early to make the comparison but as I work on this I feel like it will be rewarding to see every single details that I make that looks ultimately different from the first pic. and o yea, I decided to add a BG of her room. The idea is she's trying to take a cute pic so she can flirt with her crush. ;3c
