Drakefeather - A tall grain-like plant with a long stalk and a green feathery head. Drakefeather is named for the way its' long silky fronds resemble the sleek feathers of a mallard duck. Folk tradition holds that when properly cultivated and harvested in a timely fashion (under the first flight of autumn geese), the essence of this plant may be applied behind the ears to help the wearer understand the language of birds. Use with caution - birds are, by nature, very chattty.
