Quick update - probably no chapters this weekend

I'm currently on holiday and yesterday I got something in my eye which is now stuck below my upper eyelid. Its hard to write/read because any movement hurts, especially looking forward. Been trying to clean it with water, but nothing works.
The stupid thing is that it's easter here, and everybody is free, including most doctors. Hospitals only help in very specific cases, and we can't find any that have eye doctors around. That means they only have someone on Monday. I'm looking into getting a ticket back home, but the earliest flight is on Saturday, and even that is troublesome as the airport is far away and very few taxis want to work. (Unless I want to pay 200bucks)
Anyway, long story short, this is kinda getting in the way of my holiday and my writing. Unless some miracle decides to happen, there won't be a chapter this weekend. I'll try my best to make it up as soon as this stuff is fixed. I have most of the Friday chapter done already, so if things go slightly better I'll edit that one as best I can and put that up.

2024-05-03 11:48:09 +0000 UTCThere's no Walmart or any of the others here- just a small city with barely anything safe for the base essentials. An eye flush kits isn't one of aparantly. We found a private clinic with a doctor present this afternoon so we are going there. At a minimum, they have an eye flush kit. Thanks for the wellwishes, all of you!

2024-05-03 07:26:24 +0000 UTCI think stores like Walmart and CVS/Walgreens have eye flush/wash kits that may help you clean your eye sooner than Monday or at least make it feel better until you can get looked at buy a doctor Monday. Hope you feel better soon.
