Quick heads-up (about chapters this weekend)

EDIT3: So, Sunday, and the lack of sleep and stress made my body to decide to double dip and get a migraine. Today's chapter will be here tomorrow, and lets hope that's the end of all this hassle. For now, I need more sleep.

One thing - I've been having fun reading all the cards! You have till Friday's chapter to put in your additions. Also, put a heart by those you think are cool - that will help me see what resonates with others. If you don't like putting them in the comments, you are welcome to send them in a PM here or on discord.

For now, I'll go K.O

John

EDIT2: So, I survived the night, pain started dialing down around 2, turning to manageable levels but I kept waking every hour or two, which leaves me as tired as yesterday. I'm going to distract myself with some writing, but writing means putting my arms up and that seems to put tension on my jaw, so will see how it goes.

Read through all your comments, and its crazy how many of you had 4 wisdom teeth removed at the same time. Also, I really appreciate all the well-wishing, its a bit corny, but it helps.

Now, a bit of good news, and I'll make a post of this in a few days with more info, but the per-orders of the new versions of books 1,2,3 are up. Clicking it will show you the covers, made by actual professionals this time instead of just me and some AI. (That rhymed!)

Book 1's audio book should be out either together with it, or very soon after.

Of any of you wanna help out and get this version up, getting a pre-order would go a long way, but there's also Kindle Unlimited. Reading on there will also push the Amazon algorithm.

Now, like I warned about before, I will need to remove the first 3 books of chapters from RR and Patreon before 1e of February, but for those who are unable to use amazon or kindle, I have also downloaded an EPUB with all chapters that are currently on RR which I can share through my discord. I'd of course prefer if you read it on amazon, but I know that some of you have already spend a lot to support me. So, just reach out through discord, and specifically a PM or through the Irwin's Journey chatroom, and I'll send you that.

EDIT: Between the sleep deprivation and pain writing didn't go so well. I got about half a chapter and that's it. I'll finish that one tomorrow and post it, hopefully pain will be less then .

If that wasn't sad enough, I f-d up my amount of painkillers and can't have any more now - if I'd not check earlier I might have gone to the hospital for that instead of the teeth. Had to call with the hospital an hour ago and they had to litterly check how my liver was before telling me I was a bad boy, not to take more stuff, and go to bed. (Yey) So tonight and day tomorrow are going to be... 'fun'. (I'll put this as a comment in the message and have it update for you all.

So, I had my wisdom tooth removed two days ago, and that didn't go exactly as planned. Was a major inflammation below the left bottom one, which they hadn't seen. Between that, the tooth initially not budging and the jaw bone not wanting to play along, it took a bit longer. Also got a long set of stitched in my cheek. I have had another one removed a long while ago, and that was fine, but this one is causing a lot more grief.

Now, I will be writing, as I definitely need something to defer my attention to, but between the pain and the small chance of extra issues today or tomorrow that might see me back in the hospital, I can't guarantee anything on how this weekend will go.

So, if there's no chapters for a few days and I don't give any sign of life, its probably because I'm crying at the dentist in the hospital... just so you know ;)

Sorry to hear that had mine removed just one but required stitches as well and it wasn't fun. Don't worry it goes away in a couple days but don't do anything physical as that can reopen the wounds. Also congratulations on the new publisher!

Lol - I've never had Oxycodon - not even sure we can get that here. Survived the night, pain reduced a lot, though it still spikes up every now and again. Feels like someone is sitting on my face if that makes any sense? (And not the good kind) I'm hearing a lot of you had 4 removed at the same time. From what I know, that isn't done here, its always one side, so you can chew with the other, then some time later the other side. Or like with me, only removed when needed meaning I now still have my two upper wisdom teeth left. Those will have to go somewhere in half a year or so, not something I'm looking forward to.

Had mine, all 4 of them, pulled over the Summer. I got lucky as the nerve they were worried about ultimately wasn't damaged during the removal. But I get the idea of your pain at least. Take it easy, try not to take an Oxycodone at 2am because of the pain and proceed to not blink for 4 hours, and rest (instead of staring at a laptop screen for 4 hours between 2 and 6 am. The remains 3 pills will remain a keepsake and a reminder on my shelf that drugs are fucking wild sometimes
