News Update 28(I'm fucked?)
Added 2022-02-02 03:44:57 +0000 UTCYeah, not so good news this time around. My hard drive, the shit I keep all my work files on, is fucked. Lot of important shit on that hard drive, stuff I need to make these updates release as quickly as I do. I backed it all up of course, but would you believe I backed it all up.... on the same hard drive? Yeah, I'm retarded like that.
Anyway, I've got my computer guy working on the thing, hopefully he can get all my work files off it and just put it in a new hard drive, that'd be nice. But if he can't? Well, I'll have to redo all those files. Took me thousands of hours to do it the first time, so we're prob looking at about an extra month or so of work to get everything back in order. It prob won't affect this coming update drastically, as I'm surprisingly making decent progress on it and it's not particularly heavy on action like the last few updates, but the following update will prob take an extra month of time, so I'll have to ask you to bear with me on that.
But that's just worst case scenario. Maybe my guy gets all the files I need, or at least some of them from the hard drive, and then everything will be peachy. Or maybe it's all fucked and it'll turn out to be a good thing, I could prob redo that shit faster and better quality than when I did it the first time, so maybe the game will just be better for it? Doesn't hurt to look on the bright side.
But yeah, I dunno. We'll see. Catch you next week
