TXT Minisode 3: Tomorrow Concept Trailer + TALK x TODAY ZERO Ep 2

Omg this trailer man… also so many people I say commented about the ethereal concept! But omg… you all know I LIVE for the darker/rock/punk concepts… they all looked so good but yes Beomgyu with that hair is just perfection…

Also I really feel like watching the most recent trailers and then seeing them pre-debut really puts things in perspective when you see them so young, away from parents in a different country training to be in this crazy industry.

Comments

been a year since m3:tomorrow🥺 this era has a special place in my heart as they referenced The Little Prince, one of my fave story. I still get teary-eyed watching the trailer. Name Chapter (Temptation - Freefall)-Tomorrow is one of the best album series/storytelling i've experienced in kpop, could also be because i'm around their age but i could really relate to the songs & messages they expressed in these albums. ❤️‍🩹

As some others have mentioned, this album and concept is based off of The Little Prince. That book really fits so well into their overall storyline of growing up where in the past we have explored staying in that magic of childhood to learning to grow up and face reality, this feel like we are exploring how it is okay to grow up because you need to but you don’t have to forget that magic. At least that is how I am summarizing it. You can get into all the specific details by scrolling moatheorist on twitter but I think that is the overall theme. It really feels like this era of their story is ending 🥺 The concepts for this album are BEAUTIFUL. I’m so so excited to see them in the physical album. I really didn’t think anything could beat the concepts in Freefall for me but this album is so gorgeous. 😍 So far Ethereal is my favorite! Also these concepts seem to be referencing a lot of their old concepts and music videos. For example Light reminds us of Blue Hour and Ethereal reminds us of Loser Lover. I can’t wait to see the other concepts! Whenever I see their pre debut videos, it just makes me want a strong hip hop concept from them since that is what they focused their training on. There was a documentary about hybe’s trainee program where some of the original bighit trainee managers(?) talked about the process and they did mention about how mental health was important part of the process. I don’t know about other companies but it does seem like hybe and bighit do care a lot about that. I think a lot of the time it depends on the child like what I think is right or wrong. For me, I don’t have a good relationship with my parents so being away from them- I would have been fine as a child but my sister on the other hand would have struggled. It’s hard to have a one size fits all model. My problem more is how other companies force trainees to get into a ton of debt. I really like how bighit and hybe do not make trainees have any debt they have to worry about for just being trained. Especially since they can’t get part time jobs. The other thing I worry about with children is age appropriate concepts which again I thank bighit for giving txt time to grow up before giving them more mature concepts.

Up until now people say that TXT as a group looks like a group of bestfriends living their dreams. Im really happy they have each other and they blend well together! I think the boys and some members of BTS did mention that Bighit provides them with therapy sessions for mental and emotional support! I remember RM specifically tackled about it in his live.

The eye patch is a callback to their freeze album, I am not super knowledgeable, but I know the eye patch, taehyun talking but with no audio etc are all part of the lore. The concept trailer made so many people (including me) emotional. There were so many surprising comments under the video that stood out to me. So many people were sharing their feelings of lost, of growing up, nostalgia.

The concept trailer and Light concept photo is inspired by Little Prince. Everything in concept photo from the fox, the blond hair (because the little prince has blonde hair), the wheat field, the part where they play toy airplane are inspired from the book. Fyi, The Little Prince official twitter already watch the concept trailer & photos and they love it. As for Talk X Today Zero, I know they celebrate Kai's 16th birthday when they were there. This was in 2018, so Soobin was 17, Yeonjun almost 19, Beomgyu already 17, Taehyun was 16 and Huening Kai almost 16. That year, Soobin already drop out from high school to focus on debut preparation, Beomgyu took gap year. He already finished middle school but haven't started high school. Yeonjun already finished high school. I think the maknaes either about to finish middle school or already finish middle school (I don't know their school semester start and end 😅 ). Yup as you said, they are just still a high schooler.

The light concept is basically full on little prince with the fox again and the prince is blonde with the scarf and outfit so they all went blonde. Loveddd it

The trailer was so dreamy and made me feel so much. The foxes name is Tomorrow. The trailer and comeback is basically referencing the story of The little prince, if you haven’t read or watched it omg you should. It’s so good. But it’s basically how this boy and the fox have only each other. And in the story which they used in this trailer it says I think if you say you’re coming at 4, I’ll be happy at 3.

the concept trailer is GORGEOUS! im not super knowledgeable in lore but i love watching edits and reading the theories 🤣 this whole concept is very little prince inspired though, and its really bringing a lot of people comfort. one look into the comment section and i was crying, reading everyones stories. its really beautiful how a concept trailer was able to bring people together like that. and yes to ur points about young idols in the industry, im 19 and i still stress about travelling and doing things alone. i could NEVER imagine myself at 16 having to take care of myself to the extent that some of these really young idols do. sometimes i do wonder though what idols parents are thinking when they send their young kids to these companies 😭 i completely agree with your points about therapy being a mandatory thing. i think talking about mental health is kinda stigmatised in korea but if you’re having young kids (and adults ofc) spending all their time training, then i really think it would be beneficial.
