Whether K got evil edited or not or to what extent, is up for debate. He also had his negative comments about Heeseung in episode 2 edited out, so we did not hear them. I think all members had some evil editing but it is important to look at the other members’ responses to K’s comments to determine how much evil editing there was. The fact of the matter is in later episodes, there is no getting around that he said what he said and members reactions were on point. I like K now, because he has grown up but I did think at the time this aired and being 8 years older than Ni-ki, and 7 older than Jungwon, that K deserved some negative feedback from fans.

2025-01-10 03:27:15 +0000 UTCIn regards to K, I had been there from the very beginning of Iland when its weverse only had about 60k followers (so way way back) and I've met some amazing friends along the way and we have battled the forced K hate that mnet created at the time so hard, it was frustrating because people see something taken out of context and jump to conclusions there was even a group in the fandom that called themselves crayola and wanted all korean members only so supported any hate trains directed at other members and especially K since he was always one of the top in popularity and talent. If you would see K now in &team and how his members talks about him how enhypen talks about him to this day and all the content with &Team you would see that he is an extremely good person and a big brother that all could rely on. Niki to this day calls him everyday he even called him during a live on his birthday, Jay is very close with him and they always talk about hanging out and so on. K, Taki and Niki trained together prior to iland, Niki and Taki used to wait for K to finish his training (as he was in the older trainee group) just so that they could all hang out a bit more K basically looked after them both like a real big brother because they were so young and without family in Korea. The frustration you saw in K here was a frustration most of the fandom shared at the time because for them throughout the whole of Iland part 1 they fought to be in Iland and stay there without dropping to the ground, staying in iland for them meant they are doing good and their efforts are being repaid but then after global voting got involved and the first two spots were taken by the grounders they felt confused as if all that hard work they had done to stay at the top have been diminished to nothing, it was like their efforts meant nothing unless they entertained the public. The editing in this video only highlighted K on purpose but you can see that all were shocked the only difference is that they added all the comments K made and none of the other Ilanders and I am certain they had something to say about it as well but it would not have worked in their favour. Going forward there will be more contradictory editing against K all I ask is that you please take it all with a large grain of salt he did not deserve all the insane hate he received at the time everyone just wishes to forget this show existed because of mnet.
