2021-02-26 20:13:40 +0000 UTCTo address the issue with my previous idea, I wouldn't mind letting you resolve any tie breakers, since it'll ultimately have the same effect of getting the lesser chosen models out. Of the ideas you provided: 1) If this is a simple reward tier where the patron gets a model of their choice settled through PMs, this alone would solve all the problems and nothing else would be needed. I think this would fit perfectly as a reward tier between Hardcore Gamer and producer. I won't speak for every one, but it's a price I would be willing to pay, but I would consult the rest of the community. 2)I'm little less fond of things being random, but if it ultimately thins out the catalog, it's still a good idea. Even if the winner chooses a highly voted for model, the lesser chosen still have some sort of chance and more models are still a good thing at the end of day. 3)I'll be blunt and say I don't like this idea at all. Not everyone is going to have the time and patience to participate with this game, not even considering the extra work it means for you. I like 1 and 2 a lot. I don't know if you meant to implement one or all the ideas at the same time, but even adding one of them on their own would improve things.

I still have to think about it but here are the alternative ideas I have for now (in addition to the current poll system): 1) A new reward : "Bounty hunter / Booty hunter" -> Get the model you want once a release (catalogue only - no requests). 2) For Models lovers & above : a random draw once a release. The winner gets the model of his choice. 3) For Hardcore Gamers & above : A secret password hidden in the sequence. PM me the password and get the model of your choice. (Maybe a bit complicated for me, so not sure this is a satisfying solution...) Let me know what you think. 🤔

2021-02-26 05:10:39 +0000 UTCMy best suggestion would be to release two models per poll, but to have the second model be the one that got the least amount of of votes, as long as they got one. People will still get the winner and the second will be a model at least a few people wanted that probably wouldn't have a chance for months to come. You wouldn't have to worry about second or third place poll winners, since odds are they'll win the next month or very soon after, but the models that get few votes won't get that chance, especially if they keep getting overshadowed by desirable new entries.

There are so many good models now, I have to ask if there has been any thought given to a way to make models available besides the polls and project packs? Being at the mercy of the voters and whomever you choose for your projects means that some models may not be made available for quite some time, if at all.
