🎮 (Excellent) Evolution of the Hardcore Gamer Tier?

The Sequencer is probably the worst tool ever designed for audiovisual production:

In short, this thing is a nightmare for any creator who’s even slightly perfectionist (so in my case… don’t even get me started).

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know this isn’t the first time I’ve ranted about it...

… it’s probably the last, because I finally have an alternative to offer you. This month, a subscriber told me it was a shame that the outfit of the month could only be used on one body type. It’s not the first time I’ve heard that, and that’s when...

Since I waste a full day producing a sequence—which is now completely useless because I can shoot all my videos just using PoseEdit—why not just stop and use that time to create new outfits instead?
Plus, in a single day, I think I can manage both the porting of the outfit of the month and an extra top for each body type!

🤔 So, here are the two options:
1️⃣ Nothing changes: you’ll still get the monthly sequence. But that means no outfit porting, or you’ll have to be patient without any guarantee it’ll ever happen.
2️⃣ Everything changes*: no more sequence, but outfits instead! The monthly outfit (plus its “revealing” version) will be ported to BMX, AB and MT** bodies. That’s guaranteed. (And maybe, as a bonus, an extra top for all three body types.)

______

* If the majority chooses option 2, the new rewards will start with the October release.
** Many tops are already available for the SWRB body on KlubExile, so I won’t be porting for that one.

Comments

I can only say as a video creator, I love the idea of more outfits to use, but can understand why people like the sequences. I figured out sequencer a long time ago, but I used it a lot to learn how to do things when I was first starting.

Knowing that I'm not creating the sequences for nothing is reassuring. Thank you for your feedback.

I am with all of the comments regarding the sequences as well. I can also understand the whole thing with the outfits, and even as I myself mess with your stuff I think, 'man, outfits bla bla' (meaning some stray thought in regards to an outfit). At the same time as many others have stated, I also pop in your sequences (and also appreciate the small ones because crash) and will change models, modify text modify outfits, sometimes I will even insert a pose or two (I am terrible at it) within the flow but to do a whole sequence from scratch would be well beyond my capacity and as has been mentioned, some kind of compromise, smaller sequences, chopped up, to break the pain. I voted #1 as well. We'll see what happens at the end of the poll! Either way, keep up the great work!

I agree with you and I hear your frustration about the outfits. I'm well aware that it's an area that needs improvement, which is why I made the proposal for changes. Thanks for your feedback!

I couldn't make much sense why anyone even wanted sequences in the first place until I read some of these comments. If the best part of getting the sequences is not having to use the god forsaken sequencer, then I completely understand. Most people don't have the time to learn both it and video editing to make their own videos., so the appeal of dragging and dropping just the models, outfits and changing some dialog to make something they like is completely understandable. That said, I'm still of the mind to have more outfits options. Some of them are too good to keep to one body type. Hopefully we can come to some kind of comprromise
