Actually, I've already posted a comment about Arirang before. I'll leave the copy and paste.(Sorry for the long comment.) If you want a short explanation, you can say that Arirang is Korea's representative folk song. Therefore, the meaning of Arirang that they mentioned means that their songs will be passed down like Arirang for a long time. Arirang is a folk song registered as an intangible cultural heritage of Korea. Arirang has different songs depending on the region. According to UNESCO, it is estimated that there are about 60 kinds of folk songs and 3,600 songs handed down under the title "Arirang." There are various assumptions about when Arirang started and what it means. Anyway, it is said that the lyrics contain the spirit(์ผ ) and resentment(han,ํ which can't translate in English) of the Korean people. It is also characterized by the sad and lamentable(ํ,han) lyrics. There are various interpretations of the lyrics, but the lyrics themselves are the stories of a woman whose lover leaves. 2023-01-30 10:05:29 +0000 UTCHey familia! Regarding Arirang, it is a Korean Folk/traditional song. It's also like the unofficial national anthem of Korea. BTS sang Arirang for the KCON 2016 opening (if you aren't familiar with KCON, it's basically a gathering/meetup/performances of different Kpop groups...there are multiple held in different cities every year). BTS modernised that song a little and the dancing also is combination of modern and korean traditional dance. Hence it also fits well with the music. 2023-01-23 04:32:46 +0000 UTCThe Inkigayo MC that Tae and Hobi did was the least awkward MC-ing I've ever seen and it's because they were paired with Mamamoo who are, personality-wise, the girl group version of BTS. Like they're also hyperactive crackheads. And Moonbyul (who was dancing by j-hope) is friends with Jin and they've always shown BTS so much respect. So the four of them had really good chemistry and it wasn't awkward. They were just having a good time. I don't stan Mamamoo but I go back and watch that MC-ing clip off and on because it was just fun.

So happy you went back to Yoongi's putting contact lenses Bangtan Bomb, i think it's such an adorable moment!! Glad you didn't missed it!! And I love Hobi and Tae being MC's together and together with the mamamoo members because they are good friends and it was cute, they laughed so much with the boys!! Someone suggested you watch "BTS being chaotic MC's" again and I totally agree, it's such a good video and you watched a looong time ago, actually i recommended it on the first time it showed them being special MC's!! Also, just so you know, it's very common for idols to be MC's or special MC's!! I'm so happy we are very into 2016/Fire Era now, it's so good, soon we'll get to the BST era P.S.: And sorry for making a lot of comments it's because if I don't comment as soon i see something i want to comment about I'll forget about it lol

Back in 2015/2016 Joon used to post "Kim Daily" which was pictures of him with his fists very aesthetic in a very low angle, and almost all the time was Jimin who took the pictures lol And yes, it was a live band, they were rehearsing with the band for the concert!!

Wish you had watched the actual performance too, to hear more of their voices because they sound SO good!!! Also KCON is like a concert where Korean/Kpop artist perform and it's located in a bunch of places, like there's in LA, France, etc i believe they went to the LA one in 2014 if in not mistaken and to France, NY and Abu Dhabi in 2016!!! And this was around Festa and there's a iconic Vlive they did there in France talking about Festa and it's adorable, it's where the famous clip of JK putting his face in front of the camera and saying "Merci Beaucoup" is from lol
