Development Post - 031

What's up, guys? It's been 193 days (or 27 weeks and 4 days; or about 6.3 months) since I've released Chapter 1. During this time, I have progressed the second part tremendously. We have an interactive menu that lets you spank 6 women of your choice, a cheat code system with both practical and aesthetic uses, the beginning of Tigress' and Wing Wu's corruption, interactive sex cinematics after battles, a currency system, a fighting system with special moves that reveal short cutscenes, the introduction of many canon characters (and one non-canon character), a replay cutscene option from the main menu, and a couple of other things I'm pushing myself to do.

The Work. You guys already know why it takes so long for me to do this stuff, so I'm not gonna yap about it. For about 5 days, I've been working on catching up to where I want to be for release. I would say 7 days, but my computer decided to have a bitch fit, so Photoshop started to really lag behind. I felt it was Windows 10 being crap, so I made a 70GB partition and installed Windows 7. System ran WAY smoother, but the partition filled pretty quick and I eventually had to decide on whether I should install everything (and redo all the serial codes) onto Windows 7 or just keep everything on Windows 10. Laziness and just wanting to continue working on the project got the better of me, so I just went back to Windows 10. Why can't we just get an updated version of XP?

The Work 02. I've been trying to use CLIP STUDIO PAINT for a lot of the illustrations now, since Photoshop is attacking me with brush lag. Then again, some of my PSDs are over 250MB. :P Regardless, CSP runs much better with brushes and I'm only using Photoshop for some of the animating with the Warp tool. I wouldn't doubt CSP has it's own set of tools for that, but I'll wait for Chapter 3 to get familiarized with them. I have a system that works, and I'm going to use it until you guys are happily playing a game about furry Kung Fu fighter chicks getting the D.

The Work 03. I gotta admit, the art is taking way longer than I'd like it to. Even with my simplistic art style. I've gotten to the point of just making placeholder images so that I can continue with coding. Not to mention, it's really easy to lose your train of thought while making games. That's one of the reasons I kinda avoided livestreaming lately is because I had a couple moments of just silence, trying to find my place again. Now, that's not the actual reason I stopped livestreaming. Honestly, streams will become a thing again when I can find something that doesn't spoil anything and is interesting enough to watch. Unless you come for the positive vibes and *totally* energetic chatting. In that case, we can probably work on some backgrounds and just chat.

The Work 03.5. A livestream actually isn't far from reality. I'm going to continue working on the project for the rest of the month since there isn't much reason to stop. I know I said I was only going to work a couple days, but I've been enjoying the work on this project and the month is already paid off.

Anything else? Fun fact, I said this Chapter was going to be about 3x longer than Chapter 1, but if we're looking at it based on content and not playtime, it's about 10x more by estimate. Also I'm still going to make the 2 extra Dev Posts, I've just been focused more on working than typing and being informative.

Teaser. Here's something to make the already long wait even harder. What on Earth could Wing be talking about? What could the player being doing with her underwear? Maybe he's helping her on laundry day. Perhaps the MC wants to get in touch with his feminine side. Or maybe Wing's going to be walking funny the next day. Cumming soon. :P
