A piece of jasper brought by jay
Added 2022-07-16 00:12:53 +0000 UTCAfter I gave up on Snap and brought Jasper as my OC/mascot, I’ve been thinking about how should I portray my parents. There was a lot of issues with Snap and characters surrounding her; I’ve had her since school, and back then I was looking up to my father and thought he’s an example of ideal human. But I grew up and stopped idealising my parents, started to see a lot of cons in their behaviour, and “father wolf” character was the one holding me back.
In recent years, birds took a significant part in my life, and I started to see my parents as them — they’re observing, flying around, but they don’t affect what I am and how do I behave. Eurasian jay fits my mother perfectly because she likes trinkets and dies her hair in reddish colours. Here, she gives Jasper a piece of jasper stone she found - couple of days ago mother brought me jasper charm from the market, and that was a very sweet little gesture.
