Hello,
Many thanks for subscribing to the highest tier! 😊
Now we’re going to dive into the ugly, broken stuff. Honestly, I’d rather not show this, and I don’t think it’s particularly interesting—except to see the progress I’ve made since— but anyway.
Before I started this Patreon page, I had been experimenting with 3D animations for over a year. It was a fun and exciting time, constantly discovering new things and solving simple problems. Obviously, the result was poor but it was still satisfying for me.
To keep it brief, at some point, I felt that what I’d created for The Sims 4 was too good not to share. So, I decided to take extra time to polish my work, post it on LoversLab, and start this Patreon page to try to gain some financial motivation to push forward.
At that point, I had around 60 animations in various stages of completion. I managed to finish about half of them and shared them on both LoversLab and Patreon.
In the meantime, I had a breakthrough in my animator journey—a simple yet major discovery that completely changed how I worked. With this new tool, the quality of my animations improved dramatically, it was like night and day compared to my earlier methods.
The problem was that I still had about 30 unfinished animations created the old way which couldn’t be upgraded with the new tool. Ultimately, I decided to finish the ones that were close to completion and looked decent, while sadly discarding the rest.
So, what I’m sharing here is what remains of those older animations. (I’ll probably need a few more posts to show them all.)
To start, here are 2 of them. One is a pretty awkward and uncomfortable looking ass smother animation on the bird cage (BDSM object) and the other is more like a short loop of a headscissor/yoga workout.
