Update: October 1, 2022 - operation finish the stupid album
Added 2022-10-02 05:57:19 +0000 UTCit feels like these updates are tiny droplets of water in the torrential downpour of global events, but maybe there's still some value in that. my condolences if you're dealing with a hurricane or an invasion or some other life-shaking event beyond your control right now. on to lighter stuff:
Barrel Vision - Volume 2
I'm officially committing to having Volume 2 wrapped and released within these next 2 weeks. I've made quite a bit of progress in the last week, so I'm gonna to carry that momentum into finally putting this thing out. this will be my primary priority (aside from streams) until it's done. it'll be great. maybe. hopefully. I don't know.
point being: it's getting done. it should've probably been done months ago, but no point dwelling on it now. the time is now.

the next video is still pretty up in the air, and probably won't be nailed down until I'm done with Volume 2. though I have had a few ideas rolling around:
- half-life. something about black mesa as a location and the horrors within.
- a counter-strike dissection of some kind. to be honest, I struggle to think of what I can say about CS that hasn't already been said in the last 20 years going, but the idea still sounds fun.
- some good old insurgency fun. probably the easiest option, and maybe the most tempting because of that.
additionally, I'm still writing and adding new reviews for the Annual Performance Index. I'm kinda liking how that's coming along, but I'll share some more details about that later when it's more relevant.
