1980s Storm (X-men)
Added 2023-02-10 01:14:09 +0000 UTCI was having a lot of trouble focusing and just desperately needed a change of pace/distraction so I took some time to draw Storm from the 1980s as promised. :) Looking forward to see who comes out on top of the new poll!
I know Storm from the 80's is probably heavily influenced by Grace Jones, because she's incredible, no argument there, but I took her in more of a Naomi Campbell type direction.
You can kinda see my thought process evolve with this as I sorted out what worked in using the halftone, solid color and grainy pencil. They didn't always quite meld but I like the challenge of using some different brushes.
