Why Do Movies Feel So Different Now?
Added 2023-05-18 17:53:50 +0000 UTCThe big Metamodernism video is finally here! I've been fascinated by the idea of Metamodernism ever since I first encountered it a few years ago. I think it's a great way to identify and describe some of the changes that are happening in film and TV these days, and how they reflect shifts in broader cultural feelings.

This video is meant to be a solid introduction to what Metamodernism is, and an attempt at an argument that we've entered a "Metamodern Era" of filmmaking. It's my biggest undertaking since my video about Bo Burnham's Inside (Ironically a very metamodern work), and I hope you all enjoy the video.
